Oscilloscopes combine multiple built-in instruments
The MDO-2000E Series Oscilloscopes from GW Instek which combine several test instruments in one enclosure are available atSaelig. An actual spectrum analyser is included in the design, not just an FFT calculation to display the frequency domain. The series includes two instrument combinations: MDO-2000EG andMDO-2000EX.
Oscilloscopes feature at Warsaw exhibition
Power electronics is a fundamental part of every electronic device. The right design is key to ensuring the required performance for electronic components, PCBs and systems. Considerations such as energy efficiency and longer battery life are also growing in importance. At the centre of the Rohde & Schwarz portfolio to be showcased at EPEʹ17 ECCE will be oscilloscopes.
Scope in a probe enables measurements on the go
The IkaScope WS200 is a pen-shaped battery-powered wireless oscilloscope, available at Saelig, that streams captured signals to almost any WiFi-connected screen. The oscilloscope offers a 30MHz bandwidth with its 200MSa/s sampling rate and the maximum input is +/-40Vpp. It provides galvanically-isolated measurements even when a USB connection is charging the internal battery.
Optical analysis solution streamlines validation challenges
The DPO7OE1 is a calibrated optical probe and analysis software from Tektronix for use with real-time oscilloscopes. It is optical reference receiver (ORR) compliant for 28-GBaud PAM4 applications and supports IEEE/OIF-CEI standard specific measurements. This solution complements Tektronix’ optical PAM4 analysis tools for sampling oscilloscopes, giving design teams efficient test solutions for all stages of the optical transmitter workflow.
Two-channel oscilloscope boasts 8in colour display
Two new 2-channel high-end oscilloscopes with a large 8in colour display have been introduced by Rigol Technologies. The DS2000E is a versatile high-performance oscilloscope that incorporates many of the latest technologies and processes. It has bandwidths of 100MHz and 200MHz, sample rates up to 1GS/s per channel and two analogue channels.
Oscilloscopes speed up design evaluation
A series of oscilloscopes that capture and display significantly more signal than competitive units is available at RS Components. The TBS2000 oscilloscopes from Tektronix offer 10 vertical and 15 horizontal divisions. The series also offers dedicated controls that provide quick access to important settings enabling better and faster evaluation of designs.
Drivers add advanced trigger functions to oscilloscopes
A PicoSDK driver package installer has been released for Pico Technology’s PicoScope oscilloscope and PicoLog data loggers for Microsoft Windows. This release adds drivers for the latest PicoScope 2000A and 2000B models and the PicoScope 4444, as well as various fixes for other drivers.
DSEI 2017: Integrity and security cited as watchwords
Products selected from its range of over 650,000 products from leading suppliers were showcased by Farnell element14 at DSEI in London (September 12-15). Peter Birks, Business President of Farnell element14 says: “We understand that integrity and security within the supply chain is vital for this sector and it is because of this that we have been developing our proposition as a BSI EN 9120:2010 certified and franchised distributor for the a...
Waveform analysis tool helps validate performance of complex devices
The DeepMeasure analysis tool is included as standard with Pico Technology’s PicoScope 3000, 4000, 5000, and 6000 Series oscilloscopes. It delivers automatic measurement of waveform parameters on up to a million successive waveform cycles. Results can be easily sorted, analysed and correlated with the waveform display.
Bristol Robotics Laboratory wins Lab Makeover competition
Bristol Robotics Laboratory has been named as the winner of Farnell element 14’s ‘Win a Lab Makeover’ competition. The competition was open to educational organisations in the UK to win the opportunity to have their teaching space refurbished. The Bristol Robotics Laboratory (BRL) is an academic centre for robotics research in the UK and builds on a collaborative partnership between the University of the West of England (UWE Bris...
