Low-cost oscilloscope packs in six functions
The educational and hobbyist market will be the targets for Rohde & Schwarz’s R&SRTC1000 oscilloscope series which is available from today (January 16).The oscilloscope has been developed to meet the growing demand for more functions in one instrument.
Ergonomics advances enhance test and measurement user experience
“How comes an oscilloscope’s interface almost didn’t change in 5 decades?” is the question that kept pushing Ikalogic team to bring better user experience to this industry. So three years ago, Ikalogic’s CEO Ibrahim Kamal undertook an exciting change in the company’s strategy, focusing mainly on the ergonomics of test & measurement instruments and setting a clear goal: Lead the way and set new standards to ...
Economy oscilloscopes break price/performance barrier
Two four-channel oscilloscopes, the Siglent SDS1104X-E (100MHz) and Siglent SDS1204X-E (200MHz) that are built on the same platform as the very popular SDS1202X-E have been introduced by Saelig. These oscilloscopes include two 1GSa/s ADCs and two 14Mpt memory modules. Waveform capture rates are up to 100,000wfms/s in normal mode and 400,000wfms/s in sequence mode.
15GHz models extend sampling oscilloscope series
Three 15GHz models and a further 25GHz model have been added to its professional, portable and low-cost PicoScope 9300 Series of Sampling Oscilloscopes by Pico Technology. The 15GHz models replace the preceding 9200 Series 12GHz models, with significantly upgraded specifications at even lower prices, with the result that all Pico Sampling Oscilloscopes now operate under the much-respected PicoSample 3 software.
Power analysis added to mid-range oscilloscope
Options have been added to the 5 Series MSO mixed signal oscilloscope by Tektronix. They include a power analysis solution, Automotive Ethernet testing solution, and serial trigger and decode solutions for the aerospace and automotive markets.
Software solution sharpens up automotive design
Automotive-specific software solutions for the Tektronix 5 Series MSO mixed signal oscilloscope are designed to speed up validation and debug and shorten design cycles for the complex electronics systems found in next-generation vehicles. These new automotive solutions take full advantage of 5 Series MSO features including up to 8 channels, 12-bit resolution and a high-definition capacitive touch display and highly intuitive user interface.
Rack mounted oscilloscope lowers cost per channel
The 5 Series MSO Low Profile oscilloscope from Tektronix is for machine diagnostics and automated test (ATE) applications. Building on the 5 Series MSO mixed signal oscilloscopes and its FlexChannel technology and 12-bit ADCs (analogue to digital converters), the new low profile instrument offers a combination of channel density, performance and low-cost per channel at 1GHz bandwidth.
CXPI analysis increases oscilloscope options
CXPI serial bus analysis has been added to the range of options available on Yokogawa’s DLM2000 and DLM4000 Series mixed signal oscilloscopes. CXPI – Clock Extension Peripheral Interface – is an automotive serial bus interface that is designed to provide an optimised solution in applications previously served by the established CAN and LIN bus systems, which until now have been the main interfaces used for in-vehicle communicati...
Sensor module supports high definition oscilloscope
Provider of oscilloscopes, protocol analysers and related test and measurement solutions,Teledyne LeCroy has launched the SAM40 which provides up to 24 input channels for low frequency (sensor signal) acquisition and analysis. It connects to a four or eight channel Teledyne LeCroy 12-bit resolution high definition oscilloscope (HD4096 HDOs and MDAs) to provide Analog+Digital+Sensor (up to 8+16+24 channel) acquisitions.
productronica: T&M solutions cover 5G, IoT
At this year’s productronica, Rohde & Schwarz is focusing on innovative T&M solutions for next generation wireless communications technologies, including the Internet of Things (IoT), fifth generation mobile radio (5G), as well as automotive radar and infotainment systems.
