WIN! the Ikalogic pen sized ultra-portable oscilloscope
Over the last years, Ikalogic has worked hand in hand with ergonomics experts to enhance current instruments. The company started by focusing on two main product families: Logic analysers and oscilloscopes.A logic analyser software solution - ScanaStudio V3 - was designed from the ground up with one clear goal: be as intuitive as a software can get.At the same time the user interface had to keep up with ever evolving features without becoming clut...
Embedded oscilloscopes debut at embedded world
Three oscilloscope series, the R&S RTC1000, R&S RTM3000 and R&S RTA4000 will be debuted by Rohde & Schwarz at embedded world 2018 in Nuremberg (February 27-March 1). These oscilloscopes are equipped with cutting-edge technology, a smartphone-like touchscreen and many more features.
The Swiss Army Knife for engineers
It might not be able to take the stones out of horses’ hooves, but after a chat with Red Pitaya’s CEO Rok Mesar, you can certainly see why the Slovenia-based company’s STEMLab module has the moniker ‘the Swiss Army Knife for engineers’ – due to the portability, flexibility and affordability it provides design engineers.
Optical probe overcomes 400G PAM4 debug challenges
A 56GBd 400G PAM4 optical probe has been introduced for use with the Tektronix DPO70000SX Series real-time oscilloscopes. The 59 GHz DPO7OE2 single mode optical probe delivers the performance and advanced debug capabilities designers need to troubleshoot 400G PAM4 components and reduce time to market.
Optical modules lift 400G yields
Two optical modules have been introduced by Tektronix for its DSA8300 sampling oscilloscope that offer high sensitivity and low noise, enabling manufacturers to increase production capacity and improve yields for 400G designs moving into production.
Embedded oscilloscopes boast low signal noise
Two additions to the Rohde & Schwarz portfolio of oscilloscopes will be looking to catch the eye of research and development laboratories looking for an instrument to undertake debug and analysis. The R&SRTM3000 oscilloscope offers bandwidths of 100MHz, 200MHz, 350MHz, 500MHz and 1GHz.
Probes offer measurement bandwidth of up to 200MHz
High voltage differential probes from Rohde & Schwarz are designed for complex measurements on state-of-the-art power electronics with voltages up to 6000V. The R&S RT-ZHD probes offer a measurement bandwidth of up to 200MHz, a high common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) and DC measurement accuracy of 0.5%.
Power rail probe bandwidth increased to 4GHz
Power supply quality is a key factor in the functionality and performance of sensitive electronic circuits. Embedded designs with incorporated RF modules face the additional risk that RF signals are coupled onto the power rails of sensitive electronic components such as microprocessors, fast memory components and sensitive analogue circuits, impairing the functionality of the device.
Spectrum analysers lined up for Nuremberg debut
Innovations will be the theme of Rigol’s stand at the embedded world exhibition in Nuremberg (February 27- March 1), alongside the company’s proven instruments for test and measurement applications. The RSA5000 Series Real-time Spectrum Analysers will make their debut.
Affordable mixed signal oscilloscopes boast 1GSa/s sampling rate
The 2540C series DSO and MSO models are the next evolution of B&K Precision’s T2540 series mixed signal oscilloscopes. The front panel boasts a large 8in. widescreen with 256-level colour gradient, two analogue channels, and logic analyser. The logic analyser software and 16-channel logic probe are included in the initial purchase of MSO models or can be upgraded in the field for DSO models.
