DP Energy Services (Formerly Drake Power) has announced its Powerstax-Drake series of Transformer Rectifiers, offering output voltages from 2 to 600V, output currents of up to 5,000A and output power up to 1000kW. These are 3 phase input, primary or secondary thyristor controlled units, with switch-mode technology available for smaller systems.

Enabling low Turn-On energy losses while offering flexible, modular designs in high frequency power converters,GeneSiC has introduced 20mW, 1200V SiC Junction Transistor-Diodes in an isolated, 4-leaded mini-module package.
