Ultra Flat Power Inductors from KOA
KOA expands its range of ultra flat power inductors. The PL inductor series with ferrite core features a maximum height of 0.5 mm. The new size 1008 inch (2520 metric) covers the inductor values from 0.33 µH up to 4.7 µH. Due to the very low ohmic DC resistance down to 0.06 Ω, the allowed current goes up to 1100 mA, despite its very small dimensions.
Electrolytic capacitors with unusual SMD leads offer excellent vibration resistance
Today’s electronic components have to meet very stringent requirements to ensure that they are able withstand the stress of automotive and other hightemperature applications combined with high levels of vibration. Large electrolytic capacitors which are used to store energy cause problems, as they are the only components with wire leads in many applications. The European distributor ECOMAL has reacted to this situation by adding innovative Fro...
Micro-D Pi Filter Connector for Military and Avionics Applications from ITT
ITT Electronic Components has developed a robust Micro-D connector with exceptional attenuation. Designated the TMDMP filter, the connector utilizes a unique internal filter design, providing the density needed to accommodate the ferrite tubes necessary for Pi filtering in military and aerospace applications.
HARTING launches new version of AdvancedMC plug with enhanced contact reliability and reduced manufacturing costs
HARTING has introduced a new version of its AdvancedMC plug connector with the card edge replaced by gold pads for AdvancedMC and MCH modules, resulting in a device with improved contact reliability and reduced manufacturing costs.
DIN 41612 connectors offer higher contact density
HARTING has expanded its range of DIN 41612 connectors with the addition of two versions which offer increased contact density for use with small printed circuit boards. The new types 3B and 3C offer 20 or 30 contacts in a compact 2.54 mm grid. Each contact can be loaded with currents of up to 2 A, and the connectors are tested to the IEC 60 603-2 standard.
Micro-SIM card reader offers convenient card handling
With the FUS006-8500-0, Yamaichi is opening up a new portfolio of high-quality card readers in the FUS series, specially developed for micro-SIM (3FF). 3FF is the Third Form Factor card, a smaller version of the current SIM card. The current SIM card is 25mm x 15mm in size. In the micro-SIM, the outer lengths are only 15mm x 12mm. The miniaturisation of the card was also consistently continued for the card reader, while still placing value on man...
Designed for applications requiring a small SMD Crystal
The SMD crystals of the SMD03025 series are available in frequencies from 13.0 – 40.0 MHz and in an extended temperature range of up to –40 to +125°C. A frequency tolerance of +-5 ppm at 25°C and a frequency stability +-3 ppm over -10°C to +55°C are possible. Ageing is at a maximum after the first year and then it reduces successively (Exponential Function). The standard ageing is +-2 ppm maximum after the first year.
Low-profile switches for industrial applications
Copal Electronics has added the CL-DA series (detect switches) to its portfolio. The side-activated switches have a very low profile (only 2 mm high) and are fully RoHS/WEEE compliant (lead-free soldering). The gold contacts guarantee maximum reliability at a maximum contact resistance of 100 mOhm and a minimum damping/insulation resistance of 100 mOhm at 100 VDC. The switches are rated at 12 VDC (100 mA) max. and 20 mVDC (1 µA) min. Switch trav...
Surface mount low loss flat coil inductors aimed at high current applications
Murata Power Solutions today announced three new series of surface mount inductors aimed at high current applications where low loss characteristics are essential. The 3700, 3800 and 3900 series are flat coil inductors that provide a wide range of inductance values from 0.15 to 10uH with DC current ratings up to 19.5A. These extremely compact surface mount devices, measuring just 14.5 x 11.5 x 5.8mm (0.571 x 0.453 x 0.228 inches) for the 37301C 0...
ROHM Semiconductor introduces new EXCELED series
Based on advanced original device and phosphor technologies, the new LED line-up features a wide range of custom colours and packaging options.
