Portescap introduces the M Sense B Encoder, designed specifically for applications that require high accuracy in a compact design. The M Sense B is the first in its class to offer accuracy in the range of 1-1.5°, covering a resolution band of up to 1,024 lines with an integrated line driver resulting in accurate positioning and speed control.

Analog Devices has introduced two Analogue Front-End (AFE) devices with integrated 24-bit ΣΔ (sigma-delta) converter cores that deliver the industry’s best combination of low-power, low-noise and signal chain integration. The AD7124-4 and AD7124-8 AFEs connect directly to all standard industrial signal sources and sensor inputs, while reducing power requirements by 40% over comparable devices.

A pair of 32-bit delta-sigma ADCs that combine high resolution, low noise and integrated fault detection, eliminating many of the performance and features trade-offs typically associated with device evaluation and selection, have been introduced by Texas Instruments. The highly integrated, sensor-ready ADS1262 and ADS1263 also remove the need for external components that increase system cost and degrade noise and drift performance.
