Heat sink extrusions cover wide range of bar lengths
Global distribution of the newly expanded line of Heat Sink Extrusions from Advanced Thermal Solutions (ATS) is announced by New Yorker Electronics. The Extrusion Profiles series is comprised of over 200 aluminium alloy extrusions in bar lengths of 300mm and 1220mm.
Power line chokes offer varying rated currents
Current Compensated Frame Core Power Line Chokes from Moxie Inductor are in stock at New Yorker Electronics. The ROHS-compliant devices are vertically mounted and supply high inductance with a low resistance. They are available in four new series’ with varying rated currents.
Push switch clarity realised with quiet operation
Alps Alpine has added a model with 0.9mm travel to its SKSU Series compact, middle-stroke TACT Switch lineup. The SKSUBCE010 realises push clarity along with quiet operation and a distinct click, suitable for automotive use. The newly developed product’s 0.9mm travel places it at the longer end of the middle stroke range.
Rugged high-performance Ethernet switches for HPEC applications
Eurotech has expanded its portfolio of HPEC systems with the DynaNET 10G-01 and the DynaNET 100G-01, two rugged and liquid-cooled Layer 3 Ethernet switches designed for unprecedented networking performance in automotive and other embedded applications.
NB-IoT future for personal safety alarms
Nordic Semiconductor has announced that Dutch startup, Montr, is employing Nordic's nRF9160 multi-protocol LTE-M/NB-IoT System-in-Package (SiP) in a small lithium battery-powered NB-IoT emergency alarm designed to protect people in vulnerable situations such as lone professionals at risk of physical attack or isolated accident, and seniors living at home.
Development kit hastens motor-control solutions
The K4 Drive System Development Kit (K4DSDK) from ebm-papst has been launched into the distribution channel by RS Components (RS). Targeting use by design engineers, application specialists and developers, the compact K4 system offers faster development and deployment for motor-control-based solutions.
Compact tactile switch meets haptic automotive demands
C&K has announced the launch of its KSC XA tactile switch, designed for automotive interior and openings applications. The new switch is in a smaller form factor than existing competitor products that deliver the required sound and haptic feedback. It is provided in a compact 6.2x6.2x4.9mm package, making it ideal for applications such as steering wheel or gear shift paddles.
Skived fin heat sinks support renewable energy trends
Availability and full design support capabilities for a portfolio of skived fin heat sinks from Wakefield-Vette has been announced by Richardson RFPD. These standard copper and aluminium skived fin heat sinks offer an alternative to extruded heat sinks for applications that require a thin fin density that cannot be achieved with extrusion technology.
Low priced sub-miniature tact switches for home automation
Manufacturer of high-quality electromechanical switches, C&K, has introduced two new sub-miniature tact switches aimed at design engineers developing home automation and Internet of Things (IoT) electronic devices: the PTS636 and PTS526.
Transmitter and receiver coils target wireless charging
An expanded offering of its Qi-compliant wireless charging transmitter and receiver coils with the introduction of 14 new products in industry-standard shield sizes has been released by Vishay Intertechnology.
