Industrial Push-Pull connectors for automation applications
HARTING has expanded its range of Han Push-Pull connectors with new versions corresponding to variants 4 and 14 as specified in the IEC 61076-3-106 standard. The new connectors are designed for use in industrial automation applications, and variant 14 complies with the requirements of the automation initiative of the German automotive manufacturing sector.
Single Row 0.635mm pitch Connectors
Omnetics, the leading USA manufacturer of miniature high rel connectors has launched a single row version of its Nano-Miniature Bi-lobe 0.635mm pitch connector family, designed to deliver ultra-reliable signal contact direct from the PCB into the connector. With a profile of only 2.92mm high, these connectors incorporate Omnetics’ proven Nano Flex Pin contact and are the lowest profile metal-shelled connector available on the market.
Waterproof RF Connectors from Intelliconnect
Intelliconnect, the UK/US RF connector manufacturer has launched its PISCES range of waterproof RF/coaxial connectors and adaptors. Successfully used in Military Locator Beacon and radio applications, Intelliconnect has developed its unique internal sealing system so that it can be adapted into virtually its entire range of RF Connectors and Adaptors.
Industrial connector gets metal cover
Yamaichi's Y-Con series is known for its IP69K protection level, and now there is an additional metal cover available which also enhances the mechanical protection should it be required. The Y-ConCover-30 can be retrofitted to existing cable assemblies by simply screwing the two metal covers together. The screws are made from stainless steel, and the robust cover from high-quality die-cast zinc.
High Density Interconnect Arrays
TTI Europe, the specialist distributor of passive, connector and electromechanical components now has available new SEARAY high density interconnects from Samtec. Part of the SEAM/SEAR series, the new devices have the same footprint, providing a solid grid of contacts on 1.27mm pitch and up to 500 I/Os. They also complement Samtec’s popular SamArray series connectors delivering added features and stack heights.

Din-rail sockets for PT, XT and RT series relays
Tyco Electronics has expanded its range of Schrack panel relays and sockets to include a new series of premium Din-rail sockets for PT, XT and RT series relays. These new sockets feature screwless clamps allowing for direct mounting of solid wires without any tools, saving installation time and operating costs. Stranded wires - with or without bootlace crimps - can also be used.

ITT rail-industry connectors assembled in 48 hours by PEI-Genesis
PEI-Genesis has added ITT’s VEAM CIR series of multipin circular connectors to its product range and will be offering them with the company’s 48-hour assembly service from May 2007. Designed specifically for the hostile environment of rail-industry applications, the VEAM CIR series can be configured to function as electrical, optical or pneumatic connectors and therefore simplify the design process as well as reducing product inventories.
