Mixed signal cable assemblies provide EMI protection
ITT Electronic Components now offers customers working in demanding arenas the capability to deliver mixed signal package cable assemblies that save space, reduce weight and ensure complete EMI shielding effectiveness. Digital, power, high voltage and RF signals can all be packages in one micro interconnect assembly, and harnesses can feature multi-cable configurations with different break out schemes.
Locking push/pull connectors
New from international assembling distributor PEI-Genesis is the Amphenol PPS series of locking miniature push/pull connectors, which are machined from brass to provide an increased mechanical durability compared with traditional aluminium connectors.
Components range is ideal for connecting the “Smart” Home and Office
A new range of components designed to provide commercial and residential customers with the basis of a structured cabling system is announced by Focus EDL. Called Multijack and launched under the company’s “Konexia” brand, the components range consists of wall plates and a wide variety of snap-in data, audio and video connectors to allow users to connect several items of equipment to single or double-sized wall sockets.
Shielded connector for coaxial cables
HARTING has added a new coaxial connector to its Quintax range of shielded data connectors for industrial applications. The new Han E-Coax is a Quintax connector with one Han-E crimp contact in the coaxial position.
Compact EMC Filtered and Switched IEC Inlet Modules
Schaffner has launched a family of IEC modules. The FN 9263 filter series provides an EMC filter and a mains switch for single-phase switching. Their compact design allows them to be deployed at low cost in devices with limited space. The FN 9263 filter modules are mechanically compatible with the proven FN 9260 series with integrated fuse, and provide excellent symmetrical and asymmetrical attenuation performance.
RF cables for Rosemount Tank Radar supplied by Quadrant Connections
Quadrant, the major supplier of cable assemblies to Rosemount Tank Radar is now supplying the company with five new RF cable assemblies. Rosemount has developed marine tank radar systems for over 30 years having pioneered the application of radar techniques for level gauging onboard tankers. The Rosemount Tank Radar system is now available for all types of tankers, including LNG vessels and floating production storage and off-loading vessels. Nea...
Reliable mating and unmating for ITT's Powerlock connectors
ITT’s VEAM NRG Sequential mating system is presented in a 19in rack format and guarantees the correct mating and unmating sequence for a set of the company’s Powerlock power distribution connectors. The ‘foolproof’ nature of the NRG system makes it especially suitable for applications such as special events – concerts, broadcasts, exhibitions – as well as energy generation
Industrial Ethernet switches connect up to seven clients
The eCon 9000 and mCon 9000 are industrial Ethernet switches which extend the range of managed and unmanaged Ethernet devices available from the HARTING technology group. Each switch allows up to seven Ethernet clients to be connected via M12 sockets (with D-coding) at the front of the device. Further Ethernet connections can be made over the backplane inside a 19-inch rack.
High Speed Connectors and Cables can handle 5Gbps
Yamaichi Electronics has introduced its new generation of high speed connectors and cables for data transmission rates of up to 5 Gbps. Internal connections, according to LVDS data transmission standard, HDMI, DVI, PCI-Express or S-ATA standard can be realised with this new connector system.
BNC added to Telegärtner reverse polarity connector range
Telegärtner, a leading manufacturer of coaxial RF connectors, has expanded its range of reverse polarity connectors with the addition of a BNC version to the existing TNC and SMA types. All types are available in the UK from Quadrant. The term ‘reversed polarity’ is used where a standard cable plug has a female centre contact instead of a male pin and is considered an important safety feature in many polarity sensitive applicatio...
