This software configurable interface adapter board allows any board with Pmod connectors to be easily plugged into Arduino‑compatible microcontroller platforms. Pmod is an interface standard used to connect peripheral boards to host controller boards.
Reflex CES to display FPGA boards at electronica
For the first time, Reflex CES will be exhibiting it’s FPGA boards at electronica 2014, from 11th to 14th November in Munich. The company will also showcase other products ranging from FMC daughter boards to high-speed computers, including SOMs.
Ethernet switch offers POE+ in 3UCompactPCI format
Men Mikro’s unmanaged Ethernet switch G304 uses Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) and a direct Ethernet to CPU connection via the P1 connector for reliable communications in several harsh and mobile applications. Based on the CompactPCI Serial standard in 3U, the robust switch also conforms to the railway standard EN 50155.
Daughter cards support Arduino-compatible EVE boards
FTDI Chip has announced a series of daughter cards (or shields) which support the company's previously released VM800P development platforms. Interfacing with the Arduino-compatible VM800P ‘PLUS boards’ via one or two Micro-MaTch miniature connectors, the six daughter cards enhance the boards’ I/O capabilities for implementation into a wider range of application scenarios.
Ginsbury, Toradex tie up partnership agreement
A partnership agreement has been signed between displays specialist Ginsbury and Toradex, a Swiss based embedded computing solutions supplier, to support and supply Toradex's extensive range of embedded computer modules. Toradex also offers a range of customised SBCs with different performance levels, integrated features and price points.
