Green Hills Software has announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with 3S-Smart Software Solutions, makers of CoDeSys, the leading IEC 61131-3 programming system for creating controller applications. 3S will integrate CoDeSys SP, the run-time environment for CoDeSys applications, with the Green Hills Platform for Industrial Safety.

Intersil Corporation has announced the development of the ISL8201M, a highly integrated Power Conversion Module that saves space and cost. The ISL8201M is a high efficiency, low noise, highly integrated DC/DC power solution in a thermally enhanced QFN package. Included in the package are the PWM controller, MOSFET drivers, power MOSFETs and inductor along with an optimized compensation circuit.

Murata Power Solutions has entered into a global distribution agreement with Digi-Key. Under the agreement, Digi-Key will stock products from Murata's ranges of AC/DC power supplies, DC/DC converters, digital panel meters and magnetic devices. Application areas for the products include telecommunications, computing and industrial.
