CEC compliant external power supplies
PowerPax has launched a range of CEC compliant power supplies. This range of 'Green' switch mode power supplies are available as either plug top or desk top units and have very low standby power to meet the new regulations. This range of California Energy Commission compliant power supplies come with output power ratings including 18, 24, 30, 40, 50, 65 and 90W. Output voltage ratings range from 4.5vdc up to 24Vdc.

Rapid has introduced a new addition to the stocked range of AVR Flash Microcontrollers, targeting battery chargers, sensor end-points and low-end motor control applications. The ATtiny44, Rapid code 73-4332, has 4 KB of Self-Programmable Flash memory and delivers 20 MIPS throughput when running at 20 MHz. It is available ex-stock at Rapid in a 14-pin surface mount plastic package.
