Exel Composites has appointed Mika Bordi as Regional Sales Manager for Finland, Russia and the Baltics. Based at Exel’s Finnish headquarters in Vantaa, Bordi will lead regional sales activity to help grow Exel’s visibility and increase sales in the Baltic region.

Michael Tennefoss, Vice President of IoT and Strategic Partnerships at Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, has joined the EnOcean Alliance Board as Officer and Vice Chairman North America for the upcoming two years.  

Starting 1st March 2021, Frank Riemenschneider will further strengthen the marketing team at SEGGER Microcontroller, joining as Marketing and PR Manager. Together with Dirk Akemann, he will amplify the work of expanding and solidifying SEGGER’s position in Europe, the USA and Asia as a manufacturer of innovative products; already very well-known and used by world-renowned market leaders in industry.

Panasas has announced that Todd Ruff, Vice President of Marketing, and Brian Reed, Vice President of Product and Alliances, have joined the company’s senior management team. Richio Aikawa has also joined Panasas as director of vertical solutions, a key role as the company looks to expand its focus for financial services, trading and manufacturing customers. All three executives will report to Chief Operating Officer Brian Peterson.

Hirose Electric USA has named Shinya (Sid) Tono as its new President/COO effective April 1st, 2021. Tono has been with Hirose Electric for nearly 25 years, most recently as Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Engineering responsible for global planning, marketing and growth. Tono will continue to serve as a strategic marketing & planning leader for global marketing in his new role.

ACEINNA has announced that they have hired Michael DiGangi as the company’s new Executive Vice President, responsible for growing and managing ACEINNA’s sales efforts worldwide. 

Adapdix Corporation, the leader in EdgeOps automation software, has announced it has appointed Jean Lau as chief technology officer (CTO). Jean Lau will head up Adapdix’s world-class technology team, driving architecture, technology strategy and development of its EdgeOps platform.

Effective 15th April 2021, Infineon Technologies is creating the Management Board position of Chief Digital Transformation Officer (CDTO). The Supervisory Board has appointed Constanze Hufenbecher to the post. Through this step, Infineon is expanding the Management Board from four to five members.

Sigfox has announced that its board of directors has unanimously appointed Jeremy Prince as its new CEO, effective today. Jeremy Prince was most recently serving as the President of Sigfox USA since March 2019 and has been on Sigfox’s Executive Committee since joining the company as Chief Strategy Officer in 2018. Prince will lead Sigfox as the company continues its evolution as the world’s leading IoT services provider.

Effective February 1st, 2021, Professor Friedhelm Loh, Owner and CEO of the Friedhelm Loh Group, appointed Markus Asch (49) as CEO of Rittal International and Chairman of the Management Board of Rittal.
