IAR Systems has announced that Kazuhisa Harabe has been appointed to Country Manager for IAR Systems Japan. Kiyofumi Uemura, who has served as Director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and Country Manager for Japan since 2016, will continue to devote his efforts to business expansion as Director for the APAC region, which in addition to Japan also includes supporting the growing IAR Systems’ offices in Taiwan, China and Korea.

Vicor Corporation announced the appointment of James F. Schmidt as Chief Financial Officer, effective June 1st, 2021. Schmidt will join the Vicor Board of Directors and serve as the company treasurer and secretary.

MicroCare has announced the appointment of a new Director of Manufacturing to oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing group. Brian Donnelly is an experienced production specialist, with a proven track record in the sector having spent his 20-year career across several manufacturing industries.

Based in the UK Jamie Furness is familiar with the Schaffner product range having previously represented Schaffner while working at Farnell, and with tenure at Avnet, TTI and Future he knows the distribution channel very well. 

Nicomatic has announced the appointment of David Carman as Business Manager. Carman takes on global responsibility for Nicomatic’s outside of box interconnect products for hi-rel applications in the aerospace and defence markets, including driving sales of the company’s new EN4165 Optimus connector portfolio which will launch later this year.

ACEINNA has appointed Teoman Ustun as the company’s new Vice President of Marketing and Product Development, effective immediately. ACEINNA primarily focuses on developing and manufacturing innovative MEMS sensor and sensing systems solutions for autonomous vehicle navigation, ADAS and industrial applications.

Automation software supplier COPA-DATA has appointed Alexandra Hughes as Pharmaceutical Sales Manager. With a focus on the life sciences sector, Hughes will continue the expanding use of COPA-DATA’s zenon industrial automation software platform in the pharmaceutical sector.

TTI has announced the appointment of Mike Morton to the position of Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Morton has served the company for 40+ years in various leadership positions, most recently providing exceptional leadership as chief operating officer.

Sondrel has expanded its European team with Pascal Cintract, as its Regional Sales Director for Central and Southern Europe.
