The PCI516, PCI592 and PCI595 cards provide direct connections to neighbouring cards, avoiding the need to stage data through the host processor, so optimising throughput and minimising latency for high-performance applications.
VadaTech to exhibit at Eurosatory
VadaTech has partnered with ECRIN Systems to showcase the latest VadaTech solutions for defence, aerospace and security at Eurosatory being held in Paris between the 13th and 17th June. In Hall 5, stand J730 visitors will be able to see and learn about Xilinx FPGA FMC carriers in the PCIe, VPX and AMC form factors, FMC ADC and DAC cards based on TI and Analog Devices technology, and rugged 1U platforms for sonar and radar applications.
RFSS acquisition strengthens VadaTech’s radar offering
VadaTech has announced the acquisition of Radio Frequency Simulation Systems (RFSS), a company specialising in the design of high fidelity, wide band, high bit count Digital RF Memories (DRFM), radar and IFF test systems and electronic countermeasure systems. DRFM are a critical component in complex and sophisticated RF simulation systems used to test a wide variety of active radar sensors and systems and the acquisition will strengthen VadaTech&...
Software speeds data acquisition development
The DAQ Series Software to simplify and accelerate the development of data acquisition systems has been announced by VadaTech. Based on a digitiser-client-server architecture, the DAQ Series Software leverages open source components to shorten the time developers spend integrating a data acquisition system.
VadaTech's plan for largest portfolio of COTS VPX products
VadaTech has announced a major initiative to bring its existing commercially-developed designs to the 3U VPX form factor. This gives defense customers the opportunity to take field-proven designs in another standard format with strong market adoption. With over 300 relevant products, VadaTech could very quickly have the largest portfolio of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) VPX products in the industry.
Offering support to power hungry applications
VadaTech has announced the release of its PCI516, a PCI Express add-on card to carry FPGA Mezzanine Cards (FMCs) in rugged and commercial servers.
VadaTech launches the 'industry’s highest' performance FPGA AMC
VadaTech has announced the AMC595, an Advanced Mezzanine Card or AdvancedMC (AMC) based on the Xilinx Virtex UltraScale XCVU440 FPGA, arguably the highest performance FPGA available today. Aimed at compute-intensive applications such as large scale ASIC prototyping and emulation, the AMC595 builds on VadaTech’s successful portfolio of products based on Xilinx UltraScale FPGAs.
VadaTech & Seven Solutions integrate White Rabbit & MicroTCA
VadaTech has announced an exclusive agreement to integrate Seven Solutions’ White Rabbit technology into its MicroTCA (µTCA) products. White Rabbit is an Ethernet extension protocol that provides sub-nanosecond accuracy synchronisation, originally developed by the high energy physics community but now being adopted by companies developing military, aerospace, communications and industrial IoT applications.
VadaTech AMC supports 8-Core Intel Xeon processor D family
VadaTech has announced that its latest processor AdvancedMC (PrAMC), the AMC754, is available with either the new 8-core Intel Xeon processor D-1548 or 4-core Intel Xeon processor D-1520 and provides a migration path to next-gen 16-core processors expected to be available end of Q1 2016. The Intel Xeon processor D product family, based on the Intel DE microarchitecture, brings the performance of Intel Xeon processors into a dense, low power syste...
