Two new N-channel devices has been added to Toshiba Electronics Europe’s U-MOS IX-H family of switching MOSFETs. The TK3R1E04PL and TK3R1A04PL can help designers to improve performance and reduce power consumption in power supply applications such as DC-DC converters and the secondary side circuits of SMPS AC-DC power supplies.
High-current control photorelays for industrial applications
Toshiba Electronics Europe has announced four new compact control photorelays capable of handling currents in the range of 1.7A to 4A. The high-current devices in 2.54SOP4 and 2.54SOP6 packages are ideal for industrial applications such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), battery management systems (BMS) and factory automation inverters.
Low-input current drive features buffer-free direct drive
A series of low-input current drive, rail-to-rail output, gate-drive photocouplers has been introduced by Toshiba Electronics Europe. With threshold input current of 2mA (max), half the 4mA (max) of Toshiba’s existing products, these new photocouplers allow buffer-free direct drive of low- to medium-power IGBTs and MOSFETs from microcontrollers.
Flash family range expanded
A new device has been added to the family of 24nm flash SLC (single-level cell) memory devices from Toshiba Electronics Europe that provides a capacity of 16GB in an industry-standard 48-pin TSOP package.
Compact high-voltage drive transistor arrays
A series of next-generation output transistor arrays that feature a DMOS FET type sink output has been announced by Toshiba Electronics Europe. The TBD62183AFNG and TBD62183AFWG are ideal for level shift applications and for directly controlling photocouplers, LEDs, and relays that require high-voltage input signals.
'Easy Prototyping': Reducing the need for your own design resources
The immediate availability of 'Easy Prototyping', a solution that allows reuse of the design assets required to develop large scale custom SoC with FPGA prototyping has been announced by Toshiba. Adoption of the solution dramatically shortens the development time from FPGA prototyping to custom SoC development. Easy Prototyping is available on Toshiba’s ASIC and FFSA platforms.
Devices provide low ON-resistance for load switch applications
Two compact, N-Channel MOSFETs for load switching in automotive applications have been announced by Toshiba. The 60V SSM3K341R and the 100V SSM3K361R deliver class leading low ON-resistance and are qualified according to the AEC-Q101 standard. As a result, they are suitable for use in power management, including DC/DC converter or load switch applications which are of increasing importance for the ever developing electronic systems in vehicles.
TVS diodes deliver low capacitance & low dynamic resistance
The continuous growth of data traffic - driven by smartphones, wearables and applications such as VR and the IoT - leads to increasing numbers of high-speed interfaces that typically require protection against ESD events. To address this demand, Toshiba Electronics Europe has released ESD protection diodes based on its 4th gen ESD diode array process (EAP-IV), which uses Toshiba’s proprietary snapback technology.
Toshiba expands EXCERIA PRO SD and microSD memory card range
Toshiba Electronics Europe has further extended its family of EXCERIA PRO memory products with the launch of the SDXC N501 and microSDXC M402. With strong characteristics for capturing 4K video, these new cards will appeal to those wishing to capture professional grade images and video.
