Automotive Ethernet test lab wins Rohde & Schwarz support

Test and measurement specialist Rohde & Schwarz has provided an Automotive Ethernet testing solution to the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL). From now on, OEMs, Tier 1s, Tier 2s, and System Integrators can submit their products for compliance test certification via UNH-IOL, the first OPEN Alliance accredited test lab providing test certification for Automotive Ethernet.

Oscilloscopes enhanced with software option

Touch-operated VNA offers enhanced RF performance

The R&S ZNA high-end vector network analyser, a powerful, universal test platform for characterising active and passive DUTs has been launched by Rohde & Schwarz. The two models R&S ZNA26 (10MHz to 26.5GHz) and R&S ZNA43 (10MHz to 43.5GHz) offer a dynamic range of 146dB (typ.) and a trace noise as low as 0.001dB at 1kHz IF bandwidth.

Duo demo physical layer test cases for 1000BASE-T1 compliance

Test and measurement specialist Rohde & Schwarz and semiconductor manufacturer Marvell have demonstrated successfully, for the first time ever, all the 1000BASE-T1 compliance test cases for layer 1 (PHY). Using validated chipsets from Marvell and test equipment from Rohde & Schwarz, OEMs, Tier2, System Integrators and test houses can set up Automotive Ethernet networks that are fully compliant with 1000BASE-T1 specifications.

Indoor 5G NR network experiment "a success"

As part of the 5G expert days at Rohde & Schwarz's headquarters in Munich, the host company, along with Anokiwave and iBwave, partnered to plan, implement and measure an indoor 5G NR network. The network was created on an experimental frequency license for mmWave at 26GHz.

Duo advance 5G V2X latency tests

Cellular-based 5G V2X latency measurements in vehicular environments have been successfully conducted by Rohde & Schwarz and Huawei in field tests in Munich and Shanghai. The initial measurements have shown that it is possible to achieve delays in the millisecond regime in a 5G network, demonstrating a superior latency performance in comparison to LTE.

Demystifying EMC event continues successful run

Demystifying EMC 2019 will feature presentations on subjects from CISPR standardisation work to BREXIT. The event, which is hosted by Rohde & Schwarz, will take place on 28 January 2019 at Silverstone. Participants will receive updates on regulations and standards, brush up on good practice in circuit design, see practical demonstrations – and IET members will be able to collect CPD points.
