Molex and Cisco have announced their participation in a multi-supplier agreement (MSA) to create high-speed, double-density quad small form factor pluggable (QSFP-DD), a new high-speed interface. Thirteen industry leaders have joined the MSA to collaborate in developing this new high-speed interface.

Molex has introduced its SST PB3-CPX Modules to connect Rockwell Automation CompactLogix L2, L3 and L4 controllers to PROFIBUS DP-V0 and DP-V1 Networks. The modules enable high-performance, low-cost solutions for industrial automation applications and are compatible with Master DP-V0 Class-1, Master DP-V1 Class-1 and -2 and Slave DP-V0 protocols.

Molex, LLC introduces Brad M23 power and signal cordsets with a short overmould length of just 45mm for quick and easy assembly in space restricted applications. With WSOR (weld-slag and oil-resistant) cable fitted as standard, coupled with the space saving form factor, it helps ensure reliable performance in harsh industrial environments, including welding applications, metalworking and machining processes using cutting oil.

Molex, LLC has introduced its Mini-MRP (Modular Rack Principle) System, which improves reliability and reduces failure rates for modular rack systems in aerospace applications and other harsh-environment industries. Unique angled rear insulators eliminate the ingress of dew and water, significantly reducing short circuits, while also simplifying access and delivering the smallest possible PCB footprint.

Augmenting its magnetic jack product offering, Molex has announced the introduction of the MXMag Gigabit Single-Port RJ45 connector. Expanding its line of interface solutions, Molex has introduced the SST DN4 DeviceNet PCIe NICs (Network Interface Cards). Molex has joined the EnOcean Alliance and will integrate the EnOcean energy harvesting technology into its Transcend Network Connected Lighting system. Molex, LLC confirms its participation in the Cisco Digital Ceiling partner community, which debuted at Cisco Live! Berlin.
