HARTING Limited Articles
Metal push/pull connectors from Harting
HARTING has introduced metal-cased versions of its compact and versatile Han PushPull range of connectors, opening up new applications for the devices in industrial networks. With the new devices, it is possible to configure a single mechanical interface sealed to IP65/67 and containing inserts for data, power and signal connections. This would allow, for example, a panel feed-through for an industrial Ethernet connection along with a power conne...
Ethernet media convertor with PoE capability from Harting
The new eCon 3011 from HARTING is a Fast Ethernet media convertor designed for use in industrial environments. It performs signal conversion between shielded twisted-pair cable and multimode or single mode fibre-optic cable, and also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE).
HARTING introduces Han 4 A connector insert with new termination technology
HARTING has introduced a new version of its established Han® 4 A connector insert equipped with the new Han-Quick Lock® termination technology.
3-pin connector for IDC termination from Harting
HARTING has introduced a new version of its M8 3-pin male connector using the HARAX insulation displacement connection (IDC) fast termination technique.
Managed Ethernet switch range offers flexible communication options
mCon 1000 from HARTING is a new range of managed Ethernet switches that offers a flexible range of communications options for industrial network applications.
Cables for Gigabit Ethernet applications from Harting
HARTING has introduced a new generation of 8-wire cables and cords suitable for Gigabit Ethernet applications. The new cables have been introduced to address industry requirements for higher bandwidths in ‘future proofed’ commercial and industrial networks, while meeting the growing demands to use materials – such as PUR (polyurethane) and FRNC (flame-retardant non-corrosive) – which comply with ‘green’ and fire-protection requirement...
Harting steel connector housing offers added protection
The new Han 3 A INOX from HARTING is an industrial connector housing made of high-grade steel to provide protection against corrosion for use in food manufacture and related process industries.
Micro card edge connector for 1.6 mm PCB applications
The new HARTING Micro Card Edge connector is designed for surface mounting on 1.6 mm thick printed circuit boards in board-to-board mezzanine configurations as well as in small pluggable daughterboard applications.
Industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch has five ports
HARTING has introduced a new industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch, the eCon 2050-AA, which allows the connection of up to five Gigabit Ethernet ports in a very small space.
Ethernet switch offers high availability through ring redundancy
The new HARTING sCon family of industrial Ethernet switches is the industry’s first to offer ring redundancy on the basis of unmanaged Ethernet switches connected in a ring configuration.
Crimp connector is ideal for rail applications
HARTING's M12 connector in crimp format is ideally suited to the requirements of the rail industry, combining, as it does, compact footprint and ease of assembly. The requirement for high-speed transmission of signals and data within trains has led rolling-stock designers to incorporate Ethernet communication links into modern rail vehicles, and the M12 connector is a key device in interfacing between Ethernet switching devices and the various su...
Compact 16-port industrial Ethernet switch
The new HARTING eCon 2160-A is a compact, robust and cost-effective industrial Ethernet switch that allows the connection of up to 16 Ethernet ports in a very small space. The new unit operates as an unmanaged switch in store-and-forward switching mode, and incorporates auto-negotiation, auto-crossing and auto-polarity functions that make it fully 'plug and play'.
Plug improves reliability of card edge connections
The HARTING AdvancedMC plug has been developed to further enhance the contact reliability of the connection of AdvancedMC modules and MicroTCA backplanes. The new connector replaces the card edge and associated gold contact pads of the AdvancedMC module, which can suffer from variable surface quality and unstable tolerances and are expensive to produce. The AdvancedMC Plug, on the other hand, is manufactured using a tightly specified process and ...
Connector module includes 12 crimp contacts for power and signal transmission
The Han Q 12/0 from HARTING is an industrial connector module incorporating 12 crimp contacts, allowing power and signal connections to be combined in a single compact unit. The new module can be used for applications which require power transmission at up to 400 V and 10 A alongside the interfacing of control and diagnosis signals.
