Crimp connector module has 100 A rating for rail applications

HARTING has added a 2-pin 100 A crimp module to its Han-Modular range of heavy-duty industrial connectors. The combination of crimp technology and the high current rating makes the new module ideally suited to the requirements of the rail industry, where crimp connectors are widely used.

HARTING MicroTCA connector passes ‘rugged’ test

The HARTING MicroTCA connector has successfully passed the latest tests established by the PICMG Group for the ‘Rugged MicroTCA’ PICMG specification. The HARTING con:card+ connector for MicroTCA backplanes and the plug connector for AdvancedMC modules passed the vibration sine and shock test of the MTCA.1 ‘Rugged Air Cooled’ specification without contact interruptions.

Self-adhering gasket for industrial connectors from Harting

A new self-adhering gasket has been added to the HARTING Han range of industrial connectors. The new gasket allows the seal to be attached directly to the housing, which makes installation easier. In addition, the screws are securely held onto the housing and seal, minimising the chance of them being lost.

The new Han PushPull SCRJ connector is designed to ease the integration of SCRJ fibre-optic cabling with standard push-pull connector configurations in harsh industrial environments.
