The new Han® K 4/4 connector from HARTING is a combination power/signal connector which combines together four power and four signal connectors in a single Han® 10B construction size housing.
19in rack-mount industrial Ethernet switches
HARTING has introduced 19in rack-mount versions of its eCon and mCon 9000 family of managed and unmanaged industrial Ethernet switches. The new units allow up to 10 Ethernet clients to be connected via RJ45 or M12 sockets (D-coding) at the front of the device. The switches are specifically designed for use in industrial environments, and support both Ethernet (10 MBit/s) and Fast Ethernet (100 MBit/s) systems. Line and star topology networks, as ...
Single-phase connector for decentralised power supplies
The new Han Q2/0 connector from HARTING is a two-pole device designed for single-phase decentralised power-supply applications requiring currents of up to 40 A. Decentralised power supplies based on photovoltaic generation have attracted interest as a means of providing renewable energy in applications such as lighting, signalling and telecommunications. Unlike traditional power-transmission architectures, these systems typically require two-wire...
Industrial power supplies complement Ethernet switch family
HARTING has introduced two new families of industrial power supplies to complement its range of Ethernet switches. The pCon 7000 product family, with a high IP 65/67 degree of protection, is designed for distributed applications in harsh environments, while the pCon 2000 is for use in control cabinets.
Latched headers with compliant pin for flat cables
HARTING has introduced a compliant pin version of its SEK (insulation-displacement connection) latched PCB header series for flat cable applications. Designed around standard 2.54 mm x 2.54 mm (0.100 x 0.100 inch) dimensions, the product range includes all standard sizes from 10 to 64 contacts with straight 4.5 mm compliant pins for a PCB thickness from 1.6 mm up to 3.2 mm.
Compact Ethernet switch offers mechanical robustness in rail applications
HARTING has introduced a low-profile unmanaged 8-port Ethernet switch, the eCon 4080-B1, which features a high degree of mechanical integrity for use in rail vehicles and challenging industrial environments. The new switch features an extended operating temperature range (-40°C to +70°C), and incorporates vibration-proof M12 connectors for power supply and Ethernet interfaces. The D-coded M12 Ethernet interfaces are implemented in easy-fa...
Innovative termination technology for industrial connectors
Han-Quick Lock(r) from HARTING is an innovative termination technology for industrial interconnection which combines reliability and ease of assembly for applications involving high contact densities.
Connector module for power transmission in motor applications
HARTING has added a new power-transmission module to its Han-Modular industrial connector system. The new Han CD module is ideally suited to use with 3-phase motors and servomotors. The Han CD module incorporates three Han C power contacts (rated at 40A each) and four Han D signal contacts (rated at 10 A each), all with crimp termination. It is suitable for power transmission on three-phase motors where additional signal contacts are required - ...
Industrial cabinet outlet speeds installation of Ethernet cabling
HARTING has introduced an industrial cabinet outlet that is designed to speed the installation of industrial Ethernet cabling. Featuring a compact form-factor, the module is especially suitable for space-saving assembly in switch cabinets or other items of network distribution equipment.
