HARTING has launched HARTING Customised Solutions (HCS), a global operation for producing custom-specific interconnection solutions. The HCS operation is part of a new global business unit, which HARTING has established to perform the central development and marketing of customised solutions relating to HARTING's Connectivity & Networks operation.

HARTING has issued a conformity declaration which certifies that its new connectivity products conform with the current Cabling and Interconnection Guidelines for the PROFINET Industrial Ethernet system. PROFINET is one of the most successful Industrial Ethernet systems with a market share of around one third of all Industrial Ethernet applications and over 10m PROFINET nodes installed worldwide.

HARTING has expanded its range of Fast Track Ethernet switches for industrial applications with the FTS 3000-PTP range of managed switches. The recent Han F+B connector series from HARTING has been released, featuring a design that is optimised to meet the hygienic requirements of the food, packaging and beverage industries. HARTING has enhanced its RFID embedded transponder, Ha-VIS RFID ETB 86v1, with a range of extended functions including the ability to monitor and transmit sensor data. As a result, it becomes possible for an object or component that is equipped with an RFID transponder to determine and wirelessly transfer not only its own ID, but also its current status. 

HARTING has recently annouced the M12 PushPull connector which allows manual installation without the need for special tools, therefore speeding up its installation in tight spaces. The M12 PushPull locking solution can be plugged rapidly and securely, as well as indicateing correct assembly with a clearly audible click.

  To meet the demands of applications in new market sectors, HARTING has expanded its Han-Modular connector family. Users will now benefit from higher data rates, more mating cycles and greater safety.

Expanding its family of DIN 41612 connectors, HARTING are adding devices in the M inverse style. This connector style is especially suited to implementing combined connections between circuit boards in which signal, coaxial, high-current (up to 40A) or optical fibre transmissions need to be combined in one connector for greater flexibility.

First introduced in its Han-Yellock connector family, HARTING's innovative bridge block multiplier technique has been extended to many other Han connectors. By incorporating the additional contacts within the connector housing, the bridge block enables simplified wiring and reduced space requirements.

HARTING has introduced a new version of its established M12 connector with a conduit which provides the attached cable with additional protection against external influences, making it suited for tough industrial applications. The 'M12 with conduit' solution offers IP protection class 65/67 and operates over a temperature range from -40 to +85°C.

  At the 2015 Hannover Fair, which takes place from 13th to 17th April, HARTING will use a production line to demonstrate its solutions for the Integrated Industry. The demonstration will feature the FlexiMon assembly system and integration solutions based on SAP enterprise software.
