DELO is offering another series of webinars this year, for both beginners and experts, on adhesive bonding.

With activation on the flow, DELO has developed an innovative process technology combining adhesive dispensing and preactivation in a single process step for the first time.

DELO has developed DELO PHOTOBOND UV acrylates for optoelectronics that enable fast and true-colour bonding of holographic films manufactured by Covestro.

DELO curing lamps feature a modular design and can be adapted to customer-specific requirements. One example is the DELOLUX 203 UV area lamp, which DELO has designed for a supplier of equipment and process solutions to the semiconductor industry for use in clean rooms. The lamp is based on the already proven DELOLUX 20, but works with water cooling instead of air cooling. 

DELO has launched a structural adhesive with exceptionally high temperature stability. DELO MONOPOX HT2999 achieves strengths of 20 MPa at 180°C. This is four times greater than its predecessor. The product was developed primarily for the automotive industry and mechanical engineering.

DELO has collaborated with Infotech to help with the production of components with different physical property ranges for 3D printing systems. The core of the new system is a special dispensing unit that can be equipped with up to three different dispensing valves.

DELO has introduced a thermally conductive battery adhesive for hybrid vehicles. Designed for high-volume series production, DELO-DUOPOX TC8686 is thermally conductive and flame-retardant. The product is currently used in the ramp-up of an automotive supplier.

Since 2018, DELO has saved 3,200 tons of carbon dioxide with a new solution for shipping adhesives. This was achieved with shipping containers that work according to the thermos flask principle. Adhesives enable lightweight design and resource-saving miniaturisation. For technical reasons, many high-tech adhesives have to be transported refrigerated or frozen.

DELO has launched two new devices for controlling and powering LED spot lamps. The DELOLUX pilot S4i and S4T models allow the use of more powerful lamp heads in an extremely compact design.

Infotech has introduced a novel, fully automated 3D printing system designed specifically for printing liquid materials and multi-material structures. Thanks to the parallel operation of several dispensing heads, different materials can be processed in one printing step. Complemented by DELO's high-performance epoxy resins, this enables the production of components with different physical property ranges.

DELO has developed two liquid pressure-sensitive adhesives that have similar properties to (double-sided) adhesive tapes, but are applied in liquid form. DELO PHOTOBOND PS4130 and DELO KATIOBOND PS6372 can be dispensed easily and join components accurately with pressure.

It was developed for high-speed production in the electronics and automotive industries that require small areas to be irradiated and equipment to be easily integrated into existing systems

SUSS MicroTec has announced a collaboration with DELO. The central focus of the cooperation is the development and qualification of enhanced process solutions for micro-imprint lithography applications, especially the interaction of equipment and materials.

DELO has launched a new die attach adhesive to replace the previous DELO MONOPOX MK096. DELO MONOPOX EG2596 features high strength even after aging and can be dispensed even more precisely than its predecessor.

A light- and humidity-curing sealant for connectors that are often found in vehicle control units or sensors has been introduced by DELO.

DELO MONOPOX TC2270 shows good strength, even after standardized humidity tests with subsequent reflow cycles are performed. DELO closed the financial year that ended on March 31st with a turnover of €163 million. This is an increase of almost five percent compared to the previous year (€156 million). Despite increasing coronavirus restrictions worldwide, even the last quarter of the fiscal year contributed to this result.
