1U rackmount hardware platform targets network service applications
WIN Enterprises announces the PL-80660, a 1U rackmount hardware platform designed for network service applications. The device supports a network-specific AMD R-series CPU (formerly codenamed eTrinity). Quad- and dual-core processing options are provided for customer flexibility in addressing different market segments. The 2nd gen AMD Embedded R-series APU supports Heterogeneous System Architecture for increased processing performance, power effi...
Attenuators are designed to offer flat attenuation
Amphenol RF is pleased to introduce a line of high quality SMA and N-Type fixed attenuators to its product portfolio. Amphenol attenuators are designed to offer flatattenuation over a designated frequency range and feature a microwave grade resistor that consistently reduces power.
HDMI 2.0 compliance tests certified for video testers
New 6G TMDS protocol tests for the Rohde & Schwarz video testers have been successfully tested and officially certified by the HDMI Forum. This means that the VTC/VTE/VTS product family now includes additional tests that allow in-depth assessment of 4K/UltraHD consumer electronics equipment for compliance with the HDMI 2.0 interface standards.
Digital step attenuator trio support applications from 9kHz to 6GHz
Three digital step attenuators from Peregrine Semiconductor are available at Richardson RFPD. The PE43711, PE43712 and PE43713 are 50Ω, HaRP technology-enhanced, 7-bit RF DSAs that support applications from 9 kHz to 6 GHz. They feature glitch-less attenuation state transitions and support 1.8V control voltage and a temperature range to +105°C.
TWTAs are optimised for use in HIRF EMC testing
On Stand 49 at EMC 2015, TMD will be exhibiting a wide range of TWTAs(Travelling Wave Tube Amplifiers) incorporating significant technical features for a variety of applications in the EMC, scientific and medical fields, as well as in passive intermodulation testing, telecomms and EW simulation.
Record-&-playback & RT simulation in one RF tool
Averna has announced the industry’s first RF tool offering high-performance record-and-playback and real-time simulation in one cost-effective platform. The Averna RP-6100 Series is a self-contained, record-and-playback solution for RF application validation. It can capture all GNSS bands, as well as HD Radio, WiFi, LTE, radar and cognitive radio, to significantly advance RF projects and harden product designs.
