AEC-Q200-qualified resistors have low TCR tracking
AEC-Q200-qualified, high-precision, dual-in-line, thin film resistor networks from Vishay Intertechnology have low TCR tracking of ± 5ppm/°C.The AORN series also have tight ratio tolerances to ± 0.05% and long-term ratio stability of 0.015 % after 1,000 hours at +155°C. For improved ESD and moisture protection, the resistor networks are constructed with a tantalum nitride resistor film on a high-purity alumina or ceramic sub...
Capacitor delivers high power for hybrid assemblies
Vishay Intertechnology has introduced a thin film bar MOS capacitor designed for use in high-power hybrid assemblies and SiC/GaN applications. The BRCP offers high power handling and operating voltage up to 100V in two compact case sizes measuring 3.048x0.889 and 6.096x0.889mm (0.12x0.035 and 0.24x0.035"), allowing for smaller product designs without sacrificing performance.
Resistors offer four times the power dissipation
Vishay Intertechnology has extended its RCWE series of thick film surface-mount wraparound chip resistors with devices in the 0612 and 1020 case sizes. Providing four times the power dissipation of standard devices in equivalent 1206 and 2010 footprints, the RCWE0612 and RCWE1020 saves space and reduces component counts in telecommunications, computer, industrial and consumer applications.
Snap-in power aluminium capacitors available down to 20x25mm
A series of miniaturised snap-in power aluminium capacitors with high capacitance from 820µF to 47,000µF in compact cases down to 20x25mm has been released by Vishay Intertechnology. Designed for audio, industrial, and general power supply applications, the 256 PMG-SI capacitors offer a long useful life, high ripple current and low ESR.
Strain gauges target transducer manufacturers
To address the growing demand for the sensors needed to manufacture precision transducers, Micro-Measurements has released a series of products built using its Advanced Sensors strain gauge technology. The strain gauges offer a tighter resistance tolerance, improved gauge-to-gauge repeatability and better stability than standard strain gauges, while their advanced fabrication process helps to significantly reduce lead times.
10-30A rectifiers provide fast & soft recovery characteristics
Vishay has introduced 16 10-30A FRED PtHyperfast and Ultrafast recovery rectifiers in the low-profile SMPD (TO-263AC) package. Combining extremely fast and soft recovery characteristics with low leakage current and low forward voltage drop, the rectifiers reduce switching losses and over-dissipation in automotive and telecomms applications while providing a high-density alternative to the TO-263 (D²PAK) package.
High-speed 940nm IR emitters reduce component count
Built on the company's SurfLight surface emitter chip technology, a high-speed 940nm IR emitter has been announced by Vishay Intertechnology. The devices are claimed to provide up to five times greater radiant intensity than standard IR emitters, reducing component counts, improving performance and lowering solution costs in a wide range of IR illumination, data transmission and gesture recognition applications.
Leadless thermistor dies use IGBT-style mounting
Vishay has introduced two leadless NTC thermistor dies, contacted on the top and bottom, that provide designers with the same mounting options as IGBT semiconductors. Featuring gold metallisation, theNTCC300E4supports gold wire bonding and conductive adhesive gluing, while theNTCC200E4with silver metallisation supports aluminium wire bonding and is compatible with reflow soldering and nano-silver paste sintering.
