T&M partners produce PCI Express 4.0 test system
A partnership providing what is claimed to be the industry’s most capable PCI Express 4.0 (PCIe Gen4) test solution, integrates Anritsu’s Signal Quality Analyser (SQA) MP1900A BERT with the LabMaster 10Zi-A oscilloscope and QPHY-PCIe4-Tx-Rx software from Teledyne LeCroy. This comprehensive system provides high-speed IC, device, and network engineers with one complete solution to conduct automated transmitter and receiver compliance te...
Two-channel oscilloscope boasts 8in colour display
Two new 2-channel high-end oscilloscopes with a large 8in colour display have been introduced by Rigol Technologies. The DS2000E is a versatile high-performance oscilloscope that incorporates many of the latest technologies and processes. It has bandwidths of 100MHz and 200MHz, sample rates up to 1GS/s per channel and two analogue channels.
Scope in a probe enables measurements on the go
The IkaScope WS200 is a pen-shaped battery-powered wireless oscilloscope, available at Saelig, that streams captured signals to almost any WiFi-connected screen. The oscilloscope offers a 30MHz bandwidth with its 200MSa/s sampling rate and the maximum input is +/-40Vpp. It provides galvanically-isolated measurements even when a USB connection is charging the internal battery.
Radar test solutions make debut at EuMW
At European Microwave Week (EuMW) in Nuremberg (October 10 to 12), Rohde & Schwarz will showcase test solutions for RF & microwave components, radar, 5G communication and satellite payload. Additionally, for the first time, Rohde & Schwarz will feature a special exhibition area dedicated solely to innovative automotive radar test solution, located in the entrance of hall 7A.
productronica: T&M solutions cover 5G, IoT
At this year’s productronica, Rohde & Schwarz is focusing on innovative T&M solutions for next generation wireless communications technologies, including the Internet of Things (IoT), fifth generation mobile radio (5G), as well as automotive radar and infotainment systems.
Optical analysis solution streamlines validation challenges
The DPO7OE1 is a calibrated optical probe and analysis software from Tektronix for use with real-time oscilloscopes. It is optical reference receiver (ORR) compliant for 28-GBaud PAM4 applications and supports IEEE/OIF-CEI standard specific measurements. This solution complements Tektronix’ optical PAM4 analysis tools for sampling oscilloscopes, giving design teams efficient test solutions for all stages of the optical transmitter workflow.
Asset-based management solution slashes costs
There is the £100,000 oscilloscope wedged in front of a door or how about the cupboard containing 20 instrument modules which virtually plead “use me” when the door is opened. Just a couple of the anecdotal evidence examples Microlease has collected on how companies misuse or lose track of their assets. And the test equipment sourcing specialist has concrete research to prove the point.
Signal analyser option provides 5GHz analysis bandwidth
The R&S FSW85 signal and spectrum analyser from Rohde & Schwarz now provides 5GHz analysis bandwidth, which is required for analysing wideband signals such as automotive radar FMCW chirp signals, IEEE 802.11ay signals and 5G waveform candidates.
Oscilloscopes combine multiple built-in instruments
The MDO-2000E Series Oscilloscopes from GW Instek which combine several test instruments in one enclosure are available atSaelig. An actual spectrum analyser is included in the design, not just an FFT calculation to display the frequency domain. The series includes two instrument combinations: MDO-2000EG andMDO-2000EX.
Oscilloscopes feature at Warsaw exhibition
Power electronics is a fundamental part of every electronic device. The right design is key to ensuring the required performance for electronic components, PCBs and systems. Considerations such as energy efficiency and longer battery life are also growing in importance. At the centre of the Rohde & Schwarz portfolio to be showcased at EPEʹ17 ECCE will be oscilloscopes.
