Imaging sensors feature CMOS global shutter mode
Sony Semiconductor Solutions has launched the first models featuring its 3rd generation CMOS Global Shutter with the IMX420 and IMX428 image sensors. Both models come with 7MP resolution, with the IMX420 reaching frames rates of up to 170fps at 10bit pixel depth. Both sensors achieve a saturation at 25.000e- for a pixel size of 4.5µm.
High speed illuminated image sensor for surveillance
ON Semiconductor has released a new sensor, the AR0521, a 1-2.5” image sensor with a 5MP resolution, offering 60fps to incrrase video performance. The 2.2µm Back Side Illuminated pixel technology enables clear, sharp digital pictures while the sensor’s ability to capture both continuous video and single frames makes it well suited for security applications.
Image sensor for surveillance features full HD resolution
Designed especially for the requirements of the surveillance sector, ON Semiconductor has launched its successful AR0237 sensor in an RBG+IR version that is designed for applications needing both visible and near infrared light. With an optical format of 1/2.7" and full HD resolution, the rolling shutter CMOS sensor is very well suited for monitoring under low light conditions.
Cooperation for high performance custom image sensors
FRAMOS and PYXALIS have extended their collaboration. FRAMOS has been working with PYXALIS for several years and, after a very productive relationship, have entered into a formal agreement. This partnership provides FRAMOS partners with fully customised, high performance sensors, including sensor specification elaboration support, sensor architecture, design, prototyping, validation, industrialisation and manufacturing using the best silicon imag...

Pixel technology in SONY IMX385 doubles low light sensitivity
SONY’s 1/2" IMX385 sensor with two megapixels delivers high image quality even in low light conditions. Using their super high conversion gain technology, Sony has doubled the sensitivity compared to the IMX185. Available from the image processing specialist, FRAMOS, it boasts, together with its excellent SNR1s value, the best performance among Sony's Full HD sensors for industrial and safety applications.
RGB+IR version of image sensor launched for surveillance
Designed especially for the requirements of the surveillance sector, ON Semiconductor has launched its AR0237 sensor in an RBG+IR version that is designed for applications needing both visible and near infrared light. With an optical format of 1 / 2.7" and full HD resolution, the rolling shutter CMOS sensor is suited for monitoring under low light conditions. All ON Semiconductor image sensors are available through FRAMOS.
USB3 board camera offers high level of light sensitivity
With a resolution of 5MP and USB 3.0 Vision interface, Videology has launched its new camera module 24B5.0XUSB3. The module is the first in a series of cameras designed to work with the image processing firmware developed in-house by Videology. OEMs and developers can incorporate individual IPs on the FPGA or use customer-specific adaptations. The compact board camera is available from FRAMOS.
