Secure connectivity solution supports web access
Renesas Electronics Europe has announced the availability of a secure connectivity solution for industrial automation applications that supports secure web access using standard internet protocols over a PROFINET communication. A demo of the solution will be showcased during the SPS IPC Drives fair in Nuremberg (24th-26th Nov) at the Renesas stand 445 in Hall 6.

At SPS IPC Drives 2015, Datalogic will present the SG4 FIELDBUS, its first safety light curtain with integrated OpenSAFETY protocol over a POWERLINK network. Adding the POWERLINK interface to the field tested SG4 light curtains platform, this light curtain will be easy to integrate in networks and will communicate seamlessly with safety programmable controllers through the OpenSAFETY protocol.
