AEC-Q101-qualified rectifiers reduce switching losses
Reducing switching losses and over-dissipation in automotive and telecomms applications, Vishay has announced 27 4-10A FRED Pt Hyperfast and Ultrafast recovery rectifiers. The AEC-Q101-qualified devices combine extremely fast and soft recovery characteristics with low leakage current and low forward voltage drop, typically down to 0.72V in single- and dual-die configurations.
Rectifiers meet next-gen battery charger efficiency targets
Enabling next-gen battery chargers to achieve efficiency and temperature targets, theTrench Super Barrier Rectifier (SBR) series has been launched byDiodes Incorporated. The15A SBRT15U50SP5 and 20A SBRT20U50SLP rectifiers are the first in the series to be released by the company. While the former is suitable for10W smartphone chargers, the latter suits 12.5W tablet chargers.
MCUs cut system cost in industrial control applications
Texas Instruments has beefed up its Piccolo microcontroller (MCUs) range with a device that boosts execution speeds of control tasks in industrial applications such as telecom rectifiers, server power, solar micro inverters, frequency inverters and automotive HEV/EV. The F2807x MCUs also provide many analogue and control peripherals to enable more integrated control applications. They are scalable with the previously announced C2000 Delfino F2837...
