3D transponder coils for automotive PEPS systems
With the introduction of a new type that features an operating frequency of 22kHz,TDK has extended its B82453C*A* series of 3D transponder coils. The new component (B82453C0335A022) complements the existing spectrum designed for a frequency of 125kHz and is suitable for automotive passive entry passive start (PEPS) and other access systems based on the lower frequency.
Motion sensor product line addresses smartphone market trends
Featuring what is supposedly the world’s first triple interface 6-axis IMU able to support two OIS camera modules simultaneously,TDK has announced the launch of the InvenSense CORONA premium motion sensor family.
Compact automotive feedthrough filter offers 1µF capacitance
Global electronics company, TDK, has extended its lineup of 3-terminal feedthrough filters for automotive applications. The new YFF18AC0J105M type is available in an IEC 1608 package (EIA 0603) with compact dimensions of 1.6x0.8x0.6mm and features what is supposedly the industry’s highest capacitance of 1µF for a feedthrough filter of its size. The component offers a rated current of 2A and a rated voltage of 6.3V.
SMD pulse transformers designed for Gigabit Ethernet
TDK Corporation has expanded the ALT4532 series of pulse transformers with new types for Gigabit Ethernet and Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. The new ALT4532P type is designed for emerging 2.5GBASE-T (2.5 Gbit/s) and 5GBASE-T (5 Gbit/s) LAN applications as well as 1000BASE-T (1 Gbit/s) applications with 600-mA PoE.
240W industrial power supply is EN 62477-1 compliant
Further extending TDK-Lambda’s industrial 10-300W ZWS series, TDK has announced the introduction of the ZWS240RC-24 EN 62477-1 compliant 24V 240W rated AC/DC power supply. This new model is certified to OVC (Over Voltage Category) III for use in fixed installations, permanently connected to the distribution panel.
Medical power supplies offer conduction cooling capability
Designed for operation with conduction, convection or system air cooling, TDK has announced the introduction of the TDK-Lambda CM4 series of modular AC/DC power supplies. The advantages of conduction cooling include no fan generated audible noise or vibration and the ability to transfer heat to the system enclosure or cold-plate. With both medical and industrial safety certifications, the series is suitable for a wide range of applications, inclu...
Pressure sensor waterproof to 1.5m depth
The ICP-10100 MEMS capacitive barometric pressure sensor from InvenSense, a TDK Group company is now available at Mouser Electronics. The ICP-10100 achieves low pressure noise and power consumption and ensures excellent temperature stability for applications such as drones, mobile devices, Internet of Things (IoT), and wearables.
Industrial power supplies operate on nominal inputs
The introduction of the CSW65 series, AC-DC industrial power supplies that can operate on 115V, 230V and 277Vac nominal inputs, has been announced by TDK Corporation.Rated at up to 65W output power, the units accept a very wide 90-305Vac input, eliminating the need for step down transformers when operating at 277Vac. Target applications include smart building automation, lighting, heating and cooling controllers and secure user access systems.
Actuator meets growing haptic feedback requirements
The PiezoHapt ultra-thin actuator from TDK is in stock at Mouser Electronics. The PiezoHapt is one of the world's thinnest haptic components on the market. With a thickness of only 0.35mm and a very short response time of just 4milliseconds, the PiezoHapt is thinner and more energy efficient than conventional eccentric motors or linear resonance actuators.
