New RF interfaces upgrade video quality monitors
A series of enhancements to its Sentry video quality monitors tailored to the needs of broadcasters has been announced by Tektronix. Broadcasters have been challenged with the ever increasing competition from OTT providers, the FCC repack and having to meet even tighter compliance regulations. The enhancements to Sentry help Broadcasters remain competitive while reducing operational costs.
Test solution offers EVM measurements out to 70GHz
An accurate solution for characterising and debugging IEEE 802.11ad transmitter PHY for silicon and system designs trying to achieve multi-gigabit wireless connectivity has been released by Tektronix. The new test solution, based on the 70GHz DPO70000SX Series ATI Oscilloscope powered by SignalVu Option SV30, delivers what is claimed to be industry best residual error vector magnitude (EVM) measurements along with easy setup.
IsoVu technology takes centre stage at PCIM
IsoVu technology which offers complete galvanic isolation between a device under test (DUT) and an oscilloscope through the use of electro-optical sensors will be a highlight of the Tektronix stand at PCIM Europe in Nuremberg (May 10-12). The Tektronix stand will feature a number of dedicated power application solution workstations, includingpower supply design featuring Oscilloscopes, Probes, and Power Analysers for design, debug, and compliance...
