Spectrum analysis solutions to feature at EuMW 2018
Spectrum Analyser/Signal Analysers and Vector Network Analysers will be showcased by Anritsu at European Microwave Week in Madrid (September 25-27). During the show, Anritsu will be displaying up-coming and new additions to the Spectrum Master and ShockLine product families, and demonstrating some of the latest developments in test and measurement.
Oscilloscope firmware cuts test time and costs
Firmware downloads which will increase the PAM4 analysis function for Anritsu’s BERTWave MP2110ASampling Oscilloscope from 26Gbaud to 53Gbaud have been released enabling production and inspection of optical modules. As well as featuring both high-sensitivity and high-speed measurements, with this release the MP2110A will now support development and production-line inspection of next-generation QSFP-DD optical transceivers expected to be dep...
Protocol test system supports 5G New Radio
To support Protocol Conformance Testing (PCT) and Carrier Acceptance Testing (CAT) of terminals incorporating the 5G New Radio (NR) technology, Anritsu has introduced the ME7834NR test system. It will add support for 3GPP TS 38.523 test cases for all configurations of 5G NR, including both Non-Standalone (NSA) and Standalone (SA) modes.
Software options smooth path to 5G rollout
Two software options for evaluating 3GPP-compliant 5G Sub-6 GHz New Radio (NR) terminals have been released by Anritsu, expanding the range of software options for the Universal Wireless Test Set MT8870A. The software packages support fully automatic and industry-fastest Non-Signalling 3GPP-defined 5G NR Sub-6 GHz TRx tests, helping to facilitate the smooth rollout of 5G services by improving the mass-production of terminals and chipsets.
Duo achieve eSIM OTA test solution verification
Anritsu and COMPRION have established an eSIM over-the-air (OTA) test environment using Anritsu’s Signalling Tester MD8475A and COMPRION eUICC Profile Manager. The verification of the test environment was done at the Certification Center Svyaz-sertificat, one of the representative certification bodies in Russia that provides full certification services.
First PTCRB certification for 5DL CA RF tests
It has been announced by Anritsu that the LTE-Advanced RF Conformance Test System ME7873LA has obtained world-first PTCRB certification for RF Conformance Tests of 5 Downlink Carrier Aggregation (5DL CA) forming a key LTE-Advanced technology.
Software options cut 5G test costs
Software options have been released for Anritsu’s Signal Analyser MS269xA series that provide support for measuring the RF Tx characteristics of fifth-generation (5G) mobile communications base stations and terminals. These options support signal analyses and measurement of RF characteristics by supporting 3GPP-compliant sub-6GHz uplink and downlink signals and specifying 1 Component Carrier (1CC) up to a bandwidth of 100MHz.
Software allows ground-based PIM measurements
PIM over CPRI software has been introduced by Anritsu for its BTS Master MT8220T and MT822xB handheld base station analysers that allow passive intermodulation (PIM) measurements to be made from the ground for the first time. By eliminating the need for network operator installation and maintenance crews and contractors to climb the tower to test for PIM, this solution is a more cost- and time-efficient tool for ensuring optimal operation of wire...
Measurement option aids 5G device verification
What is said to be the industry’s first solution capable of conducting extensive characterisation of the differential noise figure of differential devices used in high-speed wireless communication systems has been introduced by Anritsu.
Test platform supports 5G chipset development
The MT8000A Radio Communication Test Station from Anritsu will be used by MediaTek as a prioritised test platform for the verification of standard-based 5G NR chipset targeting upcoming global 5G deployment. The two companies have a partnership to work on 5G development and physical layer verification.
