Evaluation module demos high speed DAC performance
The new ADC32RF45 EVM evaluation module from Texas Instruments (TI) demonstrates the performance of a dual 3-GSPS 14-bit ADC32RF45 analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) with the JESD204B interface is available at Mouser Electronics. The ADC32RF45 EVM allows design engineers to design smaller, higher-performance radar, software-defined radio (SDR), test and measurement, aerospace and defense, wireless communications, and radio astronomy equipment.
Digital to analogue converter supports 6GSPS data rate
A new 16-bit digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) from Analog Devices is now being shipped by Mouser Electronics. Announced at the 2016 IEEE International Microwave Symposium (IMS), the AD9162 is a high-performance radio frequency (RF) DAC that supports data rates up to 6 gigasamples per second (GSPS) and update rates up to 12 GSPS.
Engineering students tackle real-world needs with game-changing ideas
With a growing demand for problem-solving technology, the pressure is on for engineering students to be industry-ready upon graduation. To aid in student readiness, Texas Instruments, in partnership with Mouser Electronics, hosted the TI Innovation Challenge Design Contest in North America. Future engineers were tasked with using TI technology to create solutions tackling challenges faced by our world today.
Wireless BeagleBone replaces Ethernet connection
The BeagleBone Green Wireless, a Linux-based development board from BeagleBoard.org and Seeed Studio is now available from distributor Mouser Electronics. The BeagleBone Green Wireless is the first board in the BeagleBone community to feature a wireless connection, boasting both 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.1 low energy connectivity in place of the BeagleBone Green’s Ethernet connection.
PSoC Kit opens way to sensor-based IoT applications
The CY8CKIT-048 PSoC Analogue Coprocessor Pioneer Kit from Cypress Semiconductor is now in stock at Mouser Electronics. The programmable system-on-chip (PSoC) Analogue Coprocessor offloads sensor processing from the host and reduces overall system power consumption, allowing engineers to evaluate and develop Internet of Things (IoT) applications that require multiple sensors.
Qi wireless transmitter delivers 8W continuous power
The NXQ1TXH5 one-chip 5V Qi wireless transmitter from NXP is a fully integrated, single-chip controller and driver IC that enables engineers design a WPC 1.2 Qi-compliant low-power wireless charger with Foreign Object Detection (FOD). It includes a 5V full-bridge power stage and efficiently integrates all the functions required to control the power transfer with a Qi-compliant receiver.
Latest sensors find their way to San Jose
Some of the newest sensor technologies from its manufacturer partners will be showcased by Mouser Electronics at the Sensors Expo and Conference 2016 (June 22–23) in San Jose, California. The Sensors conference is the only industry event in North America focused on sensors, MEMS, and related technologies. On display will be new products from Amphenol, Analog Devices, Bosch, Broadcom, Fairchild, Intel, Microchip, Nordic, NXP, Rohm Semiconduc...
Design tool upgrades hasten time to market
The global release of MultiSIM BLUE Premium, the newest release of the award-winning MultiSIM BLUE has been announced by Mouser Electronics. It takes the MultiSIM BLUE design tool’s ability to scheme, simulate, PCB design, BOM export and purchase, and boosts it to a new level of unlimited flexibility and functionality.
Reference design accelerates HMI device evaluation
The MAXREFDES82 smart force sensor reference design from Maxim Integrated is now available at Mouser Electronics. The reference design features a next-generation industrial, smart force sensor that helps designers rapidly evaluate and deploy new human-machine interface (HMI) devices.
Timing technology gets its own web site
A Timing Technology web site has been launched by Mouser Electronics designed to give engineers easy-to-access information on the latest technical advances in timers, counters, and clocks. It joins Mouser's growing selection of Applications & Technologies sites, and it will provide a wealth of resource material — including articles and videos on timing and clock system design — as well as the newest frequency synthesisers, multipl...
