ProPlus Design Solutions Introduces Latest Generation 1/f Noise Measurement System
ProPlus Design Solutions today announced it is shipping 9812D, the latest generation wafer-level, 1/f noise measurement system, to select customers. 9812D improves upon 9812B, the industry’s de facto standard 1/f measurement system used worldwide for more than a decade by leading foundries, integrated device manufacturers (IDMs) and research organizations.
Microsemi Expands Silicon Carbide Power Module Product Family
Microsemi Corporation announced today the availability of a new generation of industrial temperature, silicon carbide standard power modules. They are ideally suited for use in high power switch mode power supplies, motor drives, uninterruptible power supplies, solar inverters, oil exploration and other high power, high voltage industrial applications requiring high performance and reliability.
Tiny Compound Semiconductor Transistor Could Challenge Silicon’s Dominance
Silicon’s crown is under threat: the semiconductor’s days as the king of microchips for computers and smart devices could be numbered, thanks to the development of the smallest transistor ever to be built from a rival material, indium gallium arsenide. The compound transistor, built by a team in MIT’s Microsystems Technology Laboratories, performs well despite being just 22 nanometers (billionths of a meter) in length.
Torex Introduce The XC6504 Series Tiny LDO Voltage Regulator
The new XC6504 series from Torex operates within a voltage range of 1.4V ~ 6.0V and at an ultra-low supply current of only 0.6 microA! Output voltage is selectable between 1.1V ~ 5.0V in 100mV increments with an output current of up to 150mA possible. The XC6504 consist of a reference voltage supply, error amplifier, driver transistor, over-current protection circuit, phase compensation circuit, and other internal components.
Microsemi Achieves QML Class V and Q Qualifications for RTAX-DSP FPGAs
Microsemi announce that it has achieved Qualified Manufacturers List Class V and QML Class Q qualifications for its RTAX-DSP field programmable gate arrays. Available now, customers can source Microsemi's highest quality and reliability FPGAs by referencing only the DLA standard military drawing part numbers. Its Class V devices reflect the same price points as Microsemi's EV devices.
CISSOID Introduces a High-Temperature N-Channel MOSFET Transistor 80V / 1A in a Tiny SMD Package
CISSOID introduces the CHT-NMOS8001, the latest member of its EARTH family of general purpose transistors. The CHT-NMOS8001 is an N-channel MOSFET guaranteed for operation from -55°C up to +225°C. It is available in a tiny thin dual flat pack (TDFP) hermeticallysealed Ceramic SMD package, as small as 5x5.5mm (PCB footprint).
S-Band RF Power Transistor for Air Traffic Control Radar Aviation Applications
Microsemi has expanded its family of radio frequency transistors based on gallium nitride on silicon carbide technologies with a new S-band 500 watt RF device. The 2729GN-500 is targeted at high-power air traffic control airport surveillance radar applications. ASR is used to monitor and control aircrafts in the terminal within approximately 100 miles of an airport.
