Now available in 0402 and 1206 case sizes, the PATT precision automotive thin film chip resistor family has been extended by Vishay Intertechnology. The devices are offered with gold-plated terminals for conventional solder assembly and conductive glueable board mount technologies, as well as high-temperature operation to +155°C with 100% power dissipation, derated linearly to +250°C.

The MLRF0603 and MLRF0805 series of inductors, manufactured by Gowanda Electronics, have achieved qualification to the military’s MIL-PRF-83446 specification. The company chose Essemtec’s machine because of its flexibility and ePlace.software interface. The programming is done via a direct, universal import of CAD data. The programming effort is reduced to a minimum due to the included, comprehensive component library.
