Analogue power supply chip specialist Torex has unveiled the XC6802 Series of linear charger ICs for single cell lithium-ion batteries. Available in the ultra-small USP-6C package, as well as in standard SOT-25 and SOT-89-5 versions, the XC6802 includes a reference voltage source, battery voltage monitor, driver transistor, constant-current/constant-voltage charge circuit, over heat protection circuit, phase compensation circuit.
