An EPFL team is working on a smart visor that, combined with a thermal imaging camera, will help firefighters see what's around them in real time, even at night and in smoke. VR could relieve physical and emotional pain
A team of researchers with York St John University has found positive results in testing a VR gaming system as a possible non-pharmacological analgesic to aid in pain management.
