Peak Group, a National Instruments Alliance Partner, will be participating at NIDay in London (November 4) and will highlight its latest developments in automated test systems as well as test solutions using mass interconnect products from Virginia Panel Corporation (VPC).

New at the 2014 event is VPC's new configurable VTAC High Speed Data (HSD) insert, which features a data transfer rate of more than 12.5 Gbit/s per differential pair. Gold-plated, self-aligning contacts are specifically designed to reduce crosstalk to increase signal integrity during HSD transfers while maximising cycle life. Each VTAC HSD insert has a cycle life of 10,000 without signal degradation.

The VTAC HSD insert is available in both i2 Micro iCon and 90 Series module configurations. The HSD 90 Series module accommodates 34 inserts to allow up to 272 signal connections, making it the highest signal density solution available in the single-wide 90 series module family. These precision welded inserts are compatible with several HSD standards including: USB 3.0, HDMI, DVI & DVI-1, RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet, Twinax, QSFP and Infiniband.

Peak is a provider of automated test and measurement solutions, and it also offers intelligent integration of COTS (commercial "off-the-shelf") equipment with custom-designed mechanical, electronic and system software elements.

The Peak Group is also featuring its partnership with Simplicity AI to provide integrated test solutions based on National Instruments industry-standard platforms along with Peak's test hardware and fixturing technology and Simplicity AI's advanced test & measurement software.
