Monitoring software now available as a standalone product

SafeMove Analytics is an intelligent tool that provides real time and historical data on the location of mobile devices and the performance of wireless networks. This information helps the organisation to understand where, when and how the devices have been used. The received information can be utilised in reporting and trouble-shooting. Relevant and accurate data allows making fact-based decisions in selecting the best cellular operator, for example, and helps to enhance the efficiency and user experience of mobile workers.

The maps can be scrolled and zoomed seamlessly, and they provide aggregated connectivity information from selected geographical regions, said Juha Eskelin, responsible for SafeMove solutions at Bittium. “In addition, availability as a standalone software product makes it possible to also sell the product to organisations and enterprises that are not using SafeMove Mobile VPN software.”

Bittium SafeMove Analytics is comprised of three main components - data collection module, analytics engine and modern user interface. SafeMove continuously collects connectivity data from several different sources in the server’s database, which can be viewed using a modern and dynamic Web user interface. Views and reports are fully customisable, and they can be tailored to the needs of different persons and roles.
