Aspen's GSP-930 Is The Essential RF Spectrum Analyser
Announced today by Aspen Electronics is the GSP-930 3GHz spectrum analyser designed and developed by GW Instek. Based on an innovative next generation platform, the instrument offers advanced spectrogram and topography features, thereby setting a new standard for the 3GHz spectrum analyser as the essential RF analysis tool.
AimeMeanwhile, the spectrogram and topographic features enable the GSP-930 to capture and display transient, drifting and hopping signals in detail. The simultaneous capture of frequency and time domain information facilitates the tracing of RF signal variations over time. Other remarkable features include Spectrum Emission Mask, AM/FM Analysis and TOI/CNR/CSO/CTB measurements.
The high stability, large screen display, together with a user-friendly design and intuitive operation, ensures the instrument is easy to use, even though it offers advanced features. Built-in on-screen help facilities provide definitions and descriptions on the screen to guide users through measurement processes. The icons on the display will be familiar to most users, and clearly indicate the current setting and operational status of the product.
Up to four measurements made in four different modes, including normal trace, min hold, max hold and view, can be displayed at the same time using the split screen function. The four traces can also accommodate measurement results under different detector modes.
Ideal for field service operations, the instrument is light weight and compact, with a battery option, fast warm up time and comes with a soft carry-case.
The GSP-930 is equipped with various interfaces, including LXI, USB, RS-232 and GPIB (optional). The IVI driver is available for the remote control software development by means of LabView or LabWindows/CVI. A Micro SD slot and a USB Host interface facilitate memory expansion for mass data storage. An IF output (886MHz) is provided as the intermediate frequency signal of the RF input allowing users to develop their own applications.
The spectrum analyser is suitable for a wide range of design, manufacturing and field service applications in the RF arena, including communication engineering, wireless system development, antenna measurements, EMI pre-testing, mobile phone network repairs and surveillance systems.
The spectrum analyzer is competitively priced and available immediately from Aspen Electronics.
