Aspen Electronics offers the K-LD2 evaluation kit from RFbeam Microwave, supplier of planar radar sensors, K-band measuring equipment and engineering. Typical applications for the K-LD2 are movement detection and speed measurement, plus many other uses.
Power analyser offers voltage and current accuracy of 0.1%.
The new source for ITECH Electronic a global manufacturer dedicated to finding test solutions for power electronic instruments is Aspen Electronics. The ITECH products find applications in testing power supplies, household appliances, UPS, electronics and motors etc. The IT9121 power analyser is one of their star products and combines high quality with performance.
SPDT switch offers failsafe characteristics
Recently announced by Aspen Electronics is a failsafe SPDT switch from Guerilla RF for cellular boosters, cellular infrastructure and L-band Satellite Communications. The GRF6011 is a linear, ultra-low loss switch that has been designed with failsafe characteristics when all voltage inputs are removed.
Programmable power supplies meet applications up to 5kW
Aspen Electronics is to represent APM Technologies (Dongguan) a high-tech enterprise specialised in the R&D, production and distribution of programmable power supplies. Within the Programmable Power Supplies portfolio are DC, AC and Linear designs for applications up to 5kW. All models are cost effective and are characterised by excellent design & build quality.
Next generation satellite components get smaller and lighter
As satellite communications (Satcoms) moves ever upwards in terms of frequency, so systems tend to move down the scale when it comes to weight and size. Whilst Naval platforms, such as ships, retain their overall size, reducing the above the water mass leads to increased stability. Whilst airborne platform have always sought the lightest components, in-vehicle and man-pack communications systems are the latest users of lightweight components, wri...
Data loggers feature large-touch LCD screen
Data loggers are changing more rapidly now than ever before. Already in use by many industrial users for measuring voltage, temperature etc. the growth in “sensor related” systems means those working with sensors can consider an instrument like the Sefram DAS 50 from Aspen Electronics.
Aspen strengthens RF/Microwave components offering
Extending its RF and Microwave components offering, UK-based distributor Aspen Electronics has announced a new partnership with RN2 Technologies. RN2 specialise in multi-layered circuit design and manufacturing processes using LTCC, HTCC, AlN, and Ferrite material. Their product range includes Couplers, Combiners, Terminations, Attenuators and Power Dividers.
EUMW 2016: 3D stack technology-based components in the spotlight
A recent addition to the Aspen Electronics portfolio will be featured at European Microwave Week in London (October 4-6). RN2 Technologies specialise in multi-layered circuit design and manufacturing processes using LTCC, HTCC, AlN, and Ferrite material.
European Microwave Week 2016: RF and Microwave components exhibited
At European Microwave Week 2016, Aspen Electronics will be exhibiting a wide range of specialist RF and Microwave components as well as test products from some well-known industry brands. Highlights on stand 121 will include products from RN2 Technologies, Custom MMIC and Guerilla RF.
MMICs bolster catalogue range
It could be described as a bit of a misnomer but Custom MMIC, exclusively from Aspen Electronics, have steadily developed a range of catalogue monolithic microwave integrated circuits. Now 80% of the products the company manufactures are standard, “off the shelf” designs. Custom MMIC boasts an extensive library of GaAs-based attenuators (digital and VVA), phase shifters (digital and analogue), and switches (SPST, SPDT, and higher), th...
Flexible test assemblies cut equipment downtime
Aspen Electronics has signed an agreement to represent the specialist laboratory device company Nanjing Arance Electronics (Arance). The company produces a wide range of test and measurement products including the NAC series of cable assemblies. Arance’s NAC series highly flexible test assemblies have a rugged, lightweight construction that enables longer service life, reduced downtime, and lower operating costs over the life of the equipme...
Battery quality analysis solution offers quick test
An analyser and data logger for UPS Battery field Management provides a single, quick, test to show the health of the battery at variable loading conditionings for Impedance, Voltage, Temperature and Current measurements (simultaneously or independently) with user-friendly software.
Thermal imaging cameras - an insight
Thermal imaging cameras are not new - they have been around since the late 1960’s. Back then it could take an hour to produce a single image, but thankfully just about everything about them has changed now - not only their performance but also their size, portability and price. Charlie McClelland, Keysight Product Specialist at Aspen Electronics gives an overview of how thermal imaging cameras have become very useful.
Thermal imaging cameras are becoming more affordable
By Charlie McClelland, Keysight Product Specialist, Aspen Electronics. Thermal imaging cameras have recently become much more affordable for so many more applications, and in turn their use saves money by showing things not visible to the naked eye, things that if not corrected, would result in unexpected failure with all the associated costs.
MMW phase shifters provide insertion loss of 1-1.5dB
Advanced Technical Materials, from Aspen Electronics, designs and manufactures a portfolio of coaxial and waveguide passive components for applications up to 50GHz. The company's range of phase shifters, microwave network devices that provide a controllable phase shift of the RF signal, includes both manual and motor drive control options.
It's good to torque
Anyone who has worked in an electronics measurement lab and used coaxial connectors will know the importance of mating torque and will typically have a range of torque spanners complementing their coax connectors, adaptors and test cables. Valid, repeatable test results rely on a constant mating torque. The correct torque also ensures the longest life of your expensive measurement standard connectors, cables and adaptors, especially considering t...
