Memory Protection Devices introduces part number BK-6089 for holding 6 AA batteries. Offering 9 volts output with 6 AA alkaline batteries in series and 7.2 volts with rechargeable batteries. The sliding cover has one large snap locking tab on the front and two small tabs at the rear. Allowing for quick battery changes without the use of tools and is dependable to keep the cover in place. Reverse battery protection is built in and clear markings for battery direction are provided.

Made using premium materials like UL94V-0 rated white polypropylene for the case and cover. Offering a temperature range of -30°c to + 100°c and a HDT of 134°c per ASTM D648 assures users the battery holder is very durable. Spring steel nickel plated springs and contacts apply pressure to the AA batteries so you’re assured of a long lasting trouble free connection. White 24 gage wires meet UL2468 specifications and are more than adequate for the rated current. A consumer grade strain relief is provided over the exit hole and reaffirms the BK-6089’s appearance as a quality product.

Rugged enough for industrial use and with a consumer finish many applications with benefit from the AA battery holders design. Two keyhole type screw mounting holes are provided for easy attachment to surfaces. Keyhole type screw holes are common to wall mounting consumer products.
