Reduced lead times for its MLCCs have been announced by Vishay Intertechnology. Excluding transit, Vishay's MLCCs are now available with leads times as low as in the mid 10-weeks range for Military / Hi-Rel and RF / Hi-Frequency MLCCs.

Nexperia has announced that key parts from its SOT23-packaged family of high-performance, general-purpose transistors and switching diodes are now fully-specified for operation up to 175°C. Included in the range are high-speed switching diodes BAS16/21 and BC807/817 general purpose transistors.

Exxelia has received the P-Level qualification approval for its Wet Tantalum Capacitors MIL-PRF-39006/22. Exxelia’s MIL 39006/22 equivalent to CLR79 series is now approved to P-level reliability (0,1% / 1,000 h) for voltage ranges from 6V to 125V with a capacitance value ranging from 1,7μF to 1200μF.

The UL 1449 certified RV series offers disk sizes from 5-20mm with peak current ratings up to 18,000A and energy handling up to 792J.

Extended Wet Tantalum Capacitors recently optimised by Vishay Sprague Capacitors have been introduced at distributor New Yorker Electronics. The extended ratings means the devices meet industrial, AMS and refinery applications.

AVX Corporation has extended its TACmicrochip Series with what is reportedly the lowest-profile 3216-footprint tantalum capacitor currently available on the market. Measuring just 0.5mm high, the first new ‘I’ case capacitor (EIA Metric 3216-05) is rated for 10μF and 6.3V, but will be followed by future code releases to further extend the offering.
