Designed for direct RF sampling in communications, instrumentation and military/aerospace applications, the dual-channel, 1.25V,14-bit, 1GSPS AD9680 ADC has been introduced by Analog Devices. The manufacturer has claimed that the device achieves the best noise and dynamic range performance in its class.

A 16-bit, 310-MSPS dual A/D converter, designated the AD9652, has been launched by Analog Devices. The device has been designed to support demanding high-speed signal processing applications that require exceptional linearity and noise performance over a wide input frequency range. The AD9652 can digitize up to 155 MHz of signal bandwidth and provides an analog input bandwidth of 650 MHz.

With the full authorisation of National Semiconductor, Rochester Electronics has re-introduced the RoHS-compliant LM4665 series, a fully integrated single-supply high efficiency switching audio amplifier. The LM4665 series features an innovative modulator that eliminates the LC output filter used with typical switching amplifiers.

Expanding the company's scalable TMS320C5000 device portfolio, Texas Instruments introduces the next-generation, ultra-low-power TMS320C5517 (C5517) DSP. This device delivers up to 200MHz performance, enabling faster processing of data with low-power consumption for demanding applications such as audio and video, biometrics and other analytic specific applications.

The LCA20, a flexible digital signal conditioning amplifier for single or multiple load cell applications, has been launched by Mantracourt. The LCA20 load cell weight indicator offers options of 3 programmable digital inputs including Auto Tare, Peak Hold and Reset, whilst also providing two relay outputs for control or alarm functions. This is able to support up to ten 350Ω load cells. 

A 3" (75mm) round neodymium audio drive unit for high performance audio applications, Tectonic Elements has announced the latest addition to its family of Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR) speaker drivers. The TEBM46C20N-4B transducer delivers extended frequency range and wide audio dispersion from a very compact audio transducer.

  With the full authorisation of Harris, Rochester Electronics has re-introduced the HA-2620/2625 bipolar operational amplifier series. The HA-2620/2625 bipolar operational amplifiers, originally manufactured by Intersil, feature high input impedance coupled with wideband AC performance.

  Compliant with the DALI IEC62386 standard, the RELI-DA01/R signal converter has been introduced by RECOM. It is an essential link between dimmable LED drivers and DALI components from other manufacturers’ devices such as switches, dimmers and sensors.

A 16-bit 210Ms/s high performance high-speed analog-to-digital converter (ADC), designated the LTC2107, has been introduced by Linear Technology. It has superior AC performance specifications, achieving 80dB SNR performance (4dB higher than alternative products) and industry leading (according to the company) 98dB SFDR at baseband.

The MAX11905 successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) has been announced by Maxim Integrated Products. The company claims that engineers can achieve the industry’s highest resolution and fastest sampling rate at the lowest power with the 20-bit, 1.6Ms/s device.
