Designed for the high- performance networking and discrete graphics markets, the new devices feature industry-leading low power use while delivering speeds up to 2133 megatransfers per second.

PMC has announced its 12Gb/s SAS Flash manager for the next wave of enterprise solid state drives. The SMG3B series drives with mSATA interface measure only about 30 mm x 50 mm and offer storage capacities up to 64 GB. High-speed mSATA implementation achieves actual read access speed of 170 MB per second.
