Industry-first Smart Home Gateway functionality at BBWF
Lantiq has today announced that the industry-first Smart Home Gateway functionality will be shown this week at the Broadband World Forum. At Booth G9, this will demonstrate interoperability between heterogeneous wireless Home Area Network technologies used to control switches, sensors and actuators from multiple suppliers. The demo is a collaboration of four organizations representing all links in the application value chain.

ON Semiconductor announce the new NCN5150 integrated slave transceiver for use in two-wire Meter Bus slave devices and repeaters. The NCN5150 provides all necessary functionality to satisfy the EN 13757-2 and EN 1434-3 standards that describe the physical layer requirements for remote meter reading M-BUS applications in multi-energy, heating and cooling, water and gas meters.
