OCXO provides tight stability over wide temperature range

Incorporating a Stratum 3 clock for enhanced timing performance, the OCXO is offered in a compact 14.3 x 9.3 x 6.7mm footprint. The oscillator features stability as low as ±50 ppb over a frequency range of 5MHz to 40MHz, and an extended operating temperature of -40°C to +85°C. The OCXO provides a short term aging of only ±5 ppb maximum per day for the first 30 days, and ±4 ppb long term for all effects. The internal heater and smaller packaging facilitates a quick warm up time to ensure the oscillator quickly achieves ready mode with accurate stabilities.

The device's timing attributes and size allow the oscillator to be used in a growing number of applications that require smaller, more dense, yet highly reliable, electronics. Applications include routers, gateways, base stations and switching platforms as found in the communications, data transmission and test and measurement industries. Using an industry standard footprint and available in a simple tape and reel configuration, the new  OCXO is easily incorporated into automated production lines to save design costs and assembly time.
