"World's smallest" reed relay makes UK debut at EDS
What is claimed to be the industry’s smallest reed relay will be displayed by Pickering Electronics at the upcoming Engineering Design Show, Ricoh Arena, Coventry (17-18 October). The Series 124 is part of Pickering’s new ultra-high density 4mm2 reed relay range product line, which takes up the minimum board area of only 4mm x 4mm, allowing the highest packing density possible.
Robust SAM series multiway switches offering simple integration
High-quality electromechanical switch provider, C&K, has announced the availability of its new SAM series multiway switch. This switch is defined by its integration, direct motor management based on SPDT (single pole, double throw) contacts, and flexible mechanical characteristics including travel, shaft shape and dimensions.
Emergency pull-wire switch for extreme environments
With its ZS 92 S series, the steute business unit ‘Extreme’ is presenting a new series of emergency pull-wire switches especially designed for Extreme environments. The die cast aluminium housing, for example, is very robust and multi-coated (passivation, base coat, powder coating).
TRIAC helps designers improve thermal management
Littelfuse has introduced six series of high-temperature sensitive, standard and alternistor TRIAC, designed for use as semiconductor switches in appliances and equipment powered by line AC voltages up to 220VRMS. Available in compact, surface-mount packages, these components are the industry’s first TRIAC with such a high maximum temperature that are available in ratings of 4A, 6A, and 8A.
