Two-way Single-channel Video Streaming Platform
The MGW 200 from Garland Partners, is the latest addition to Optibase's family of IP streaming gateways. The MGW200 is a compact, single-channel encoding, decoding and streaming platform that is ideal for IP streaming applications such as video contribution, corporate communications and video server upload.
WithThe MGW200 transmits and receives live video that is transmitted over an IP network. It can encode a single live analogue or SDI source in MPEG-2 or MPEG-1 and stream it in real-time over an IP network in multicast or unicast mode. MGW200 also supports preview of the incoming stream.
The MGW 200 combines ease-of-use with advanced features and top video quality, giving users all the tools needed to set up a stable video over IP streaming solution. For full duplex communications, MGW 200 is available with a hardware decoder, which allows you to transmit and receive streams simultaneously. This configuration, combined with MGW 200's low latency feature, allows instantaneous two-way communications and video delivery.

This allows video channels streamed by the MGW 200 to automatically trigger the player, which lets you easily choose between live and scheduled programming. The MGW 200's traffic shaping mechanism optimizes bit-rates and video quality, enabling the best video quality over any IP network infrastructure.
Various configurations are available. MGW200 Basic supports a single analogue video input, creating an MPEG-2/MPEG-1 stream; MGW200 Duplex; supports both encoding and decoding in a single chassis using analogue interfaces; MGW200 SDI supports a single SDI video input creating an MPEG-2/MPEG-1 stream.
