FTDI & MCCI collaborate on embedded USB host stack

FTDI Chip and MCCI have collaborated to produce an embedded USB host stack which is designed for use with FTDI Chip’s FT900 product family. The TrueTask USB high performance, production-ready embedded USB host stack supports the highly integrated FT900 series of application-focused microcontrollers.

Embedded product developers selecting FT900 MCUs will now have access to a solid USB platform which is capable of offering support a wide variety of USB peripherals, including USB storage, portable media players, video/audio conferencing system peripherals, mobile phones and WiFi dongles.
